Since the company's establishment in 2013, NORMAL has been expanding rapidly. The expansion continues at full speed, and NORMAL now has more than 340 stores in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands and France.

Following our rapid growth and the changes that come with it, it is important to ensure the quality of the legal advisory services provided across our international organization. We are now looking for a French-speaking HR Legal Partner to join our People & Legal Team covering a maternity leave. You will support our French managers and provide employment law support to our French stores. Permanent employment may be relevant for the right candidate.

At People & Legal, we provide a wide range of support services to our colleagues within all areas of payroll and staff administration, and we also provide commercial law advice, mainly within marketing law, contract law and GDPR issues.

Your responsibilities and tasks:

  • Legal support for HQ, regional managers and store managers, primarily by phone and email
  • Drafting of employment contracts, warnings, dismissals, etc.
  • Collaboration with public authorities and local advisors
  • Legal support for the French payroll administrators
  • Administration of leave due to sickness, maternity leave, etc.
  • Facilitation of meetings in the work environment organization, implementation of workplace assessments and handling of other working environment issues
  • Ad hoc tasks within various other legal areas, e.g. legislation on COVID-19

About you:

  • You have an educational background as a lawyer or another relevant education within HR and employment law.
  • You have work experience in providing employment law advice working for a private company, a law firm or maybe a non-governmental organisation.
  • You have a positive attitude and work in a structured and independent manner, always focusing on the highest level of quality.

Workplace: Skanderborg or Paris
