JOIN OUR LABOUR RELATIONS TEAM, GROUP HR FUNCTION IN LYNGBY
As a legal consultant, you will become part of a team servicing the business with labour relation advisory and administration and will advise our internal clients on all aspects of employment including employment legislation, contracts, salary, policies, and much more. You will also be working on various HR projects both locally and globally.

A POSITION THAT WILL PUSH YOUR DEVELOPMENT FURTHER
In this position, you will join our global team of experts and work closely with the entire team and the business. You will be responsible to take an active part in providing legal services within HR to our internal clients in COWI A/S. You will be working with experienced colleagues and managers, who will push your development and skill-set on a daily basis, in a safe but busy environment.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be working with e.g., the following tasks:

  • Labour relations advisory, incl. long-term illness, warnings, dismissals etc.
  • Advisory in relation to employment contracts.
  • Securing compliance with Danish legislation in our policies such as the new Holiday Act, Corona, parental leave etc.
  • Project management, updating and developing new policies and internal COWI Labour Relations processes.
  • Contact with COWI's staff association (CMU).

Furthermore, you should:

  • Hold a master's degree within law (cand.jur or similar)
  • Have approx. 3-5 years of experience – still in your early days of your career
  • Have experience in working with labour relations, including employment contracts, executive contracts, warnings, dismissals, salary review, long-term illness, parental leave and holiday
  • Preferably have knowledge about or interest in international employment and labour law
  • Preferably have experience or interest in GDPR-regulations
  • Have experience and an understanding of maintaining and creating company policies and guidelines
  • Have experience or interest in acting as project manager of projects related to labour relations
  • Be fluent in Danish and English both oral and written

Please note that a bar exam is not necessary for this position, nor will you be able to keep your attorney license in this position.
