We are looking for a HR legal partner ready to share and grow
In the position, you will join People & Communications in BEC Financial Technologies, which in total counts for 45 highly skilled employees with expert knowledge and capabilities within the HR and communication areas required in an international FinTech company. As part of the Payroll & HR Legal team, you will have the opportunity to be based at our office in Herning or Roskilde, depending on your preferences. Regular travel between the offices must be expected. You will report to the area director for Payroll & HR Legal.
In May 2021 BEC launched a revised strategy with a strong people vision to grow and lead finance and tech talents in Denmark and Poland. We are looking for a HR legal partner, who can provide HR legal support and guidance to colleagues in People & Communications, BEC’s managers and other relevant internal stakeholders.
Primary tasks and responsibilities
In the position as HR legal partner you will work closely with your colleagues in People & Communications and managers across BEC’s organization.

We are looking for a colleague with a relevant higher education as Master of Law, Master of Business Law, or similar and some years of experience working with HR Legal – preferably in a larger organization.
You are known for your ability to create business development through your professional legal competencies being brough into play by strategic use of the collective bargaining agreement, integrity, situational awareness, sense of urgency, and clear communication that strengthen your ability to provide guidance and advice to your stakeholders. You are motivated by understanding and adapting tasks to business goals and challenges. You are energized by working days with varied and unpredictable tasks bringing your structure, flexibility, and commitment to the table.
With colleagues in teams distributed across Denmark and Poland, you must master Danish and English at a high level both in writing and orally.

Your tasks and responsibilities will among others include:
- Provide support and guidance to P&C business partners and BEC’s managers with matters related to employment and labor law
- Handle legal matters end to end in the employee lifecycle including drafting employment contracts, termination agreements etc.
- Dialogue and negotiation with external lawyers in HR legal matters
- Handle questions related to BEC’s collective bargaining agreement and local agreements (between FA and Finansforbundet)
- Responsible for managing collective bargaining agreements, negotiating local agreements, and managing relations to union representatives
- Proactively secure that HR legal strategies and processes support business needs and corporate strategy
- Responsible for ongoing update of legal templates, e.g. HR policies and employment contracts
- Participate in and drive projects where HR legal expertise is required e.g. re-negotiation of BEC’s pension scheme, remuneration benchmark etc.
- Analyze people data and needed actions to support our strategy
- Responsible for ongoing update of GDPR compliance procedures in the team
