Group Category Sourcing Manager - Cable & Cable-management

What will you be doing you ask?
The Group Category Sourcing Manager is responsible for supervising and executing the daily maintenance and operation of the “Sourcing Excellence” discipline, within the entire category Cable & Cable-management. You will work with agreements and vendor relationships related to this specific category. Cable and Cable-management in Solar is a strategic and important category, with a significant spend within an international vendor portfolio. The category is covering products within power- and building cables, control cables, metal and plastic cable-management - all important products for the green “Electrification”.

You will be responsible for the sourcing strategy in the category. Analyzing, planning, and executing sourcing projects and negotiations with local and international vendors. You are responsible for achieving ongoing commercial improvement, in order to get the best agreement and purchase conditions possible for Solar. In general, as a part of your role, you also support the development of sourcing as discipline within the entire category, cross border.

You are motivated by driving international negotiations and strategic sourcing projects and reaching the KPI´s all related to commercial profitability.

You are a team player and capable of interacting with many stakeholders both internally and externally.

Other key responsibilities will be:

• Negotiation – Prices & Commercial terms for our global contracts
• Vendor agreement responsible in our procurement systems
• Supporting the category strategy with specific sourcing strategy
• COGS (Cost Of Goods Sold)
• Vendor scouting and evaluation

The team
You will be part of Category Management under the category Cable and cable-management. Category Management is globally organized, and therefore you will be a part of a team and work across the Solar markets. You will report to the Group Senior Category Manager.

You will work mainly from the office in Vejen, Aarhus or Brøndby, Denmark.

• Solid experience within the field of supply chain category-management or sourcing
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Knowledge of working in a global and cross functional team
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
