Senior Manager Sourcing Excellence

For KK Wind Solutions A/S (KKWS) we are looking for an experienced professional who likes to take up the challenge to become their new Senior Manager Sourcing Excellence.

Purpose of position:

The purpose of the position is to support the execution and delivery of the global sourcing strategy, key success factors, strategic initiatives and key performance indicators. More specifically by managing a team tasked to drive business excellence projects and develop the best possible business processes in global sourcing.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

The position refers to the Senior Director, Sourcing Excellence. The Sourcing Excellence organization creates the sourcing excellence solutions that bring KKWS closer to reaching the goal of becoming best in class within procurement. This is done by driving the development of Sourcing’s WoW (way of working) e.g. tools, processes and the development of competences through change management & knowledge sharing. Above all to secure a strong “Green Power Wizard” identity that stands on KK’s values of responsibility, integrity and agility.

In headlines the key responsibilities for the position are:

• Manage a portfolio of strategic projects and initiatives in line with the sourcing strategy
• Drive development, evaluation, alignment and compliance of processes and tools in global sourcing
• Drive towards securing sourcing processes & tools that provide data quality, are manageable & scalable
• Coach and support the team with their daily challenges, including long-distance management, currently in India and probably later in Poland
• Sourcing responsible in cross-functional development projects
• Define and execute relevant KPI

Key Tasks:

Basically all disciplines related to the role as outlined above, i.e.:

• Develop & implement effective, efficient and aligned business processes and tools
• Develop & manage the team to ensure high performance according to strategic goals & “must win battles”
• Develop a sustainable, helpful, flexible “can to” attitude and innovative culture in the team
• Training and education of key stakeholders in sourcing excellence tools and processes
• Ensure effective, efficient and aligned business processes

Professional Competences:

To be able to take up the challenges as the new Senior Manager Sourcing Excellence we are looking for an experienced professional with a solid educational background at bachelor or master´s level and possessing the following characteristics:

• Proven track-record and minimum 6-year experience within change management, process development, project management and business excellence
• 2-year leadership / management experience, preferably also including long-distance management
• Leadership/management profile aligning with KK values
• Solid business understanding, including process, tool and business data understanding
• Insight in sourcing and category management processes
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Teams, Business intelligence, ERP.

Other specific requirements:

KKWS works in the renewable industry. It is therefore important that you have a passion for the renewable energy agenda for a sustainable future on the globe. As KKWS works on the global market it is imperative that you are fluent in English in both speaking and writing and you should expect approx. 20-30 travel days per year.
