Sourcing & Contract Manager, EPC

Your new team
As our new Sourcing & Contract Manager you will be part of our EPC Sourcing & Procurement team which is part of European Energy’s EPC department, which has the overall responsibility for the design, planning, procurement, and management of our projects during the ready-to-build and construction phase. We work with professional suppliers, partners, and sub-contractors for the completion of our sites.
Your new role
You will play an important role in ensuring contract and risk management activities are timely and accurately executed in close cooperation with the technical leads and project team protecting EE interests throughout the project lifecycle.
Job prerequisites
You are enthusiastic, analytical, proactive, and results-driven. You possess solid problem-solving skills, you work in a structured and detail-oriented manner, and you are committed to delivering high quality while you keep and maintain the overview to meet deadlines. You are able to work independently in a fast-paced changing environment. You have good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with and manage a diverse group of stakeholders.

Your new team
As our new Sourcing & Contract Manager you will be part of our EPC Sourcing & Procurement team which is part of European Energy’s EPC department, which has the overall responsibility for the design, planning, procurement, and management of our projects during the ready-to-build and construction phase. We work with professional suppliers, partners, and sub-contractors for the completion of our sites.
Your new role
You will play an important role in ensuring contract and risk management activities are timely and accurately executed in close cooperation with the technical leads and project team protecting EE interests throughout the project lifecycle.
Areas of responsibilities
- Managing sourcing related processes, primarily for construction-related scope of works, in various EU markets.
- Commercial focal point for certain project contracts, HoT preparations, and negotiations with external stakeholders.
- Handling contracts, claims, and variation orders during the construction phase and EPC warranty period.
- Management of EPC turnkey as well as onshore turbine supply and installation contracts.
- Internal stakeholder management during contract preparation and implementation.
- Contract structuring and preparations for new markets together with our legal team.
Job prerequisites
- You hold a University degree in business, law, or a combination with an engineering degree.
- You are strong in contractual and commercial details, and you have an interest for technical issues.
- You have at least 3-5 years of contract management or similar experience. Documented technical and commercial understanding is a must. Experience in working with renewable projects is a plus.
- Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- You have full professional proficiency in English – Danish or other languages are a plus.
