We are currently looking for a Sourcing Manager for our Global Marine & Navy organization with headquarter in Denmark – The main areas will be to identify and align ideas (e.g. bundling) for saving potential across the whole GM&N organization and execute them in close corporation with Sourcing team members and other stakeholders.
What you will do
You will be part of setting sourcing activities, demands and goals for the business and execute across the BU’s. With reference to the GM&N Senior Sourcing Manager, you will be part of the GM&N sourcing team and in close cooperation with the EMEA Procurement team.
You will have a broad role in the organization, where you will be participating in improvement projects, identifying opportunities and implementing these.

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement or related area, or equivalent through experience, with a strong technical and commercial experience. Alternatively a Mechanical / Electronic engineer (or equivalent), with a suitable education / experience in Procurement will also be in scope.
At least five years of active experience in an equivalent professional purchasing position (with experience in the categories mechanical, automation and HVAC). Excellent knowledge of purchasing practices and applicable laws and regulations. In Addition;

What you will do
You will be part of setting sourcing activities, demands and goals for the business and execute across the BU’s. With reference to the GM&N Senior Sourcing Manager, you will be part of the GM&N sourcing team and in close cooperation with the EMEA Procurement team.
You will have a broad role in the organization, where you will be participating in improvement projects, identifying opportunities and implementing these.
How you will do it
Your main responsibility will be:
- Ensure supplier relationship management and implementation of SCM programs set by EMEA Procurement and GM&N Procurement
- Implement and align agreed strategies to the business
- Identify and lead / participate in continuous improvement projects
- Identify new suppliers, make benchmarks for defined commodities, cost control and implementation
- Implement JCI Supplier agreements (Global, EMEA and local agreements) – into the organization
- Implement and coordinate general Procurement issues across the GM&N organization
- Ensure alignment and implementation between GM&N business entities and the Supply Chain organization
- Coordinate commodities across the organization – focus on using most optimal supplier solutions and bundling of purchase (Projects) across the business
- Support the whole organization in Supply Chain Management aspects and new business developments related to Sourcing/Procurement
- Use different tools e.g. SharePoint and Wave as preferred business tool related to Sourcing and Procurement projects
- Financial results (measure, execute and work with defined KPI’s)
- Secure Due Diligence of suppliers and act according to set of rules for e.g. Compliance, Ethical, Integrity and other behavior’s set by JCI corporate
- Monthly reporting to align Sourcing tasks / initiatives related to projects, commodity strategies etc.
What we look for

- Analytical, result-driven and accurate
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills and make strong supplier relationships
- Able to demonstrate a high level of integrity
- Strong Team Player, encouraging a challenging and collaborative environment
- Have a demonstrable track record in improving bottom line results
- Experience in an International business environment required
- Strong English language – written and spoken. It is an advantage to be able to speak Danish, but is not a requirement.
