Are you ready to take on the overall responsibility for Buying, Sourcing & CSR across hummel? And can you define, communicate, and implement Group policies and processes that set new standards for buying & sourcing in hummel? Then you might be our new Group Head of Buying, Sourcing & CSR in hummel!

Your areas of responsibility
You will have the overall responsibility for Buying, Sourcing & CSR across hummel, including the responsibility for our standards, processes and tools related to Buying, Sourcing & CSR. You are responsible for establishing a cost and time efficient seasonal forecasting and sampling strategy.
We expect you to take on the leadership responsibility for all Sourcing offices including quality control in i.e., Shanghai and Bangladesh. In addition, you will effectively lead the collaboration on Buying & Sourcing across business units and in hummel globally in an engaging and proactive manner. The staff responsibility sits either locally or in our Business Units. However, you will be the one setting the standard for Buying & Sourcing by including our buying functions and creating ownership and engagement for our new way of working. You will work hard to comply with our GM and revenue targets including making sure we have the best possible payment terms.
Your most important success criteria will be to optimize processes, including digitalizing our document handling and review our payment terms and supplier terms across our portfolio of suppliers. In addition, you will create synergies across business units to secure economy of scale and optimal efficiency.

You come with experience from a similar role, where you are used to operating on a strategic level and have proven results from driving and implementing new processes and tools across both functions and countries without having the direct leadership role.
In your career, you have acquired key capabilities within buying and sourcing of sportswear – footwear is seen as a plus. You have knowledge about CSR especially when it comes to production of textile. You possess solid project management skills and enjoy working with a wide range of both internal and external partners. Since you will possess a virtual leadership role, we prefer you have experience with leadership in a virtual environment in a global matrix organization.
You are proactive and focused on solutions and your solid communications skills enables you to collaborate well across borders and cultures. You are driven by the possibility to influence hummel’s strategic agenda and operate globally without being focused on leadership mandate and organizational belonging.

- Implement processes and platforms to follow up on supplier delays as well as secure proper quality assurance
- Implement and follow up on purchase orders to minimize delays
- Secure best practice across departments, including order placement, order follow up, samples, master data price calculations etc.
- Develop and implement user friendly score sheets, KPIs etc. across Business Units and serve as an active player in relation to SKU-efficiency on collections to minimize poor acquisitions and secure better prices
- Secure we have a future proven portfolio of suppliers to support our set GM targets, payment terms and CSR objectives
- Develop SMU management and processer including Short Lead Express focus across Business Units
- Digitalize our supply chain management including 3D design and other relevant tools/platforms
