Work with global sourcing projects primarily within the R&D categories but also with the possibility to deliver on other Indirect and Direct projects
LEO Pharma has embarked on an ambitious journey to become the world’s preferred dermatology care partner with a very ambitious growth strategy. You will join our recently established Tactical Procurement dept. and assume global responsibility for delivery of sourcing projects, tenders and activities across Direct and Indirect categories. In this position you will be directly involved in optimizing value from est. 35% of total global spend.
You will become part of an international team consisting of eight project managers deployed throughout Europe reporting to the Head of Tactical Procurement and working closely with Category Managers and business stakeholders.
The job
As a Procurement PM you will work in a highly dynamic environment both professionally and in the execution of diverse projects across geographies and with internal and external stakeholders around the world.
Accordingly, the main responsibilities of the position will be to:
manage and execute projects ranging from one-off purchases over Work Orders under Master Agreements to full tenders within primarily the R&D category and subcategories in close cooperation with Category Managers identify the need for, develop and negotiate frame agreements as needed develop and maintain your project pipeline in collaboration with the Head of Tactical Procurement work in close collaboration and dialogue with Category Managers to ensure internal procurement alignment on category spend development and delivery off value to the business in accordance with category strategies build strong relationships within Procurement, with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and decisive execution of responsibilities and minimize risk.

Your qualifications
The ideal candidates for the positions hold qualifications within the following fields:
2-3 years of procurement and RfX experience in an international category based organization and company R&D procurement or similar technical experience is preferred, but not required Pharma or life sciences industry experience is preferred, but not required Strong commercial acumen Experience from working with eSourcing platforms and/or SRM tools are equally desirable, but not required Fluency in English and preferably in Danish, as well as a third major language A relevant Master’s degree in e.g. SCM or economics is preferred
As you will work as trusted advisor for stakeholders in LEO and engage a diverse field of suppliers understanding of commercial drivers and market dynamics, as well as change management and negotiation skills are crucial for success in the job. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are equally obvious and relevant skills you dominate.
The position is based at the LEO Pharma HQ in Ballerup. Relocation will not be offered.
