Senior Category Manager – Indirect Procurement
Do you have the drive and motivation to lead procurement projects in a fast paced environment to identify optimization opportunities within an international organization?

We offer the opportunity to join Nilfisk as our new Senior Category Manager, where you will manage the negotiating and designing of global contracts with indirect suppliers related to the areas of Marketing, HR and Travel. You will be the driver of defining future supplier concepts in our global organization, work across cultures and influence future sourcing strategies in your categories. You will act as a trusted Procurement Advisor for stakeholders all over Nilfisk and liaise with a broad field of suppliers while understanding the trends, commercial drivers, and market dynamics.
You will be part of the international Global Indirect Procurement team reporting to the Head of Indirect Procurement You will be based in the HQ of Nilfisk located in Brøndby (Greater Copenhagen).
Your key areas of responsibility include:
Self-driven Indirect Category Manager
You hold a Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics or similar. You have several years of relevant experience driving a number of indirect categories either in a large international company or working for international clients in procurement management consulting. You speak and write English at a high level and you have great analytical skills and master Excel at a high level.
Furthermore, you have excellent skills in communication and stakeholder management on all levels, coupled with solid change management capability and strong negotiation skills. It is important that you can embrace change, enjoy an agile environment and have a continuous improvement mindset. You have great business acumen and with the ability to prioritize to maximize value for the business. You are a self-driven executor, energic and appreciate to work with other great colleagues.

Your key areas of responsibility include:
- Managing procurement optimization projects (Scoping, RFx, Negotiating, Implementing)
- Developing category strategies and tracking progress on implementation hereof
- Managing contracts, optimizing compliance with SOW's and other contractual conditions
- Work closely with key business stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in for procurement projects
- Seeking out additional opportunities for continuously improving the TVO within the category by scoping and getting buy-in for specific improvement projects
- Conducting fact-based negotiations with suppliers to ensure that Nilfisk gets the right quality of products, at the right time, and at the lowest total cost
- Developing and managing supplier contracts and compliance
- Executing requests for proposals (RFP) and quotations (RFQ) with high professionalism – ensuring comparability, fact-based evaluations, and timely execution
- Managing the right level of Supplier Relationship and involvement with suppliers
- Assist in developing and maturing the Indirect Procurement function
- Identify opportunities in spend patterns and market developments
