Product Compliance Assistant
for a Danish growth company in the hunting industry
Outfit International is looking for a person with experience and interest in Product Compliance.
With the increased focus on the environmental footprint of the product throughout our supply chain and its lifecycle with the consumer, we are looking for a person to join our Product team, who will be the center of information and who ensures that data is delivered correctly and punctually to the legal platforms within the EU.
You understand the value chain in textile production and use systems to support your own work function.
You will have a broad interface with the entire product team, our customers and our suppliers.
Tasks and responsibilities:
The assistant will be an important part of our Purchasing team and will focus on Product Compliance on a daily basis. At the same time, the assistant will take part in various purchasing tasks when necessary.
Tasks include:
- Responsible for all legal data collection for:
- Digital product passport
- Transparency with suppliers
- Waste management of product packaging
- Supporting the product department on product labelling requirements, such as CE marking and testing
- Participate in webinars and trainings to ensure we are up to date on all legal requirements related to Product Compliance
- Collect, check and send all data to EU platforms, in close collaboration with our product team, suppliers and our S&OP planner
- Maintaining our STP (Standard Trading Procedure) and communicating updates to suppliers
- Monitor our level of sustainability on raw materials and social compliance and follow up on our suppliers renewing their certifications
- Assist with placing purchase orders and follow up on deliveries during peak periods
- Supplier communication
- Work with our product software Delogue, Business Central and Qarma
Organisational role:
You will report to our Head of Buying & Production.
The Person:
As a person, you are detail-orientated, structured, accurate and have a great overview. Being a good communicator, both internally and with our suppliers, is key.
You must have an interest in legal regulations and we will emphasise that you have experience from a similar position. You have a business education as base knowledge.
It will be an advantage if you have a background in the textile industry in order to understand the basic development and production processes.
A large part of the success of the job comes from establishing strong relationships with our suppliers, to ensure you have the data you need to work with.
The company:
Outfit International designs, manufactures and sells 2 brands, Seeland and Härkila, which are the leading hunting clothing brands in Europe. We supply the majority of our products to hunting speciality retailers and are present in 40 different countries. Our products consist primarily of clothing for the hunter, but we also design and sell footwear and bags. We manufacture in both Asia and Europe and require a high level of quality, Code of Conduct and sustainability from our suppliers.
We are approx. 100 colleagues, and our head office is located close to the highway in Greve with a good lunch scheme and social events. We are 18 in the product department and you will be a part of a team with high professionalism, many deadlines and lots of good humour.
