HIAN is a Vietnamese restaurant focuses on providing authentic Vietnamese food with a classic home meal experience. The restaurant is located next to Nørreport station, at the central of Copenhagen. With this location we expect to be busy and have high customer flow. We are therefore currently looking for a purchasing manager.
The position as purchasing manager is for the candidate who likes to work in the service industry. Maybe you have ambitions to become a restaurant manager one day – in which case we would very much like to help you achieve this.
As a purchasing manager you will become a part of the management team in the restaurant and refer directly to our Restaurant Manager with whom you will work closely with to manage, track, and execute the purchasing and procurement of the restaurant. You are also expected to have knowledge of restaurant kitchen set up and basic kitchen skill as you will have a strong collaboration of the head chef and kitchen staffs. You will also contribute to a high level of service in addition to the daily operation of the restaurant, where you are included in the shift schedule.
As we are a Vietnamese restaurant, we are especially looking for a candidate with thorough knowledge of the Vietnamese cuisine and have the ability to communicate in Vietnamese both verbal and written.
We and the whole team are passionate about providing good guest experiences, we have a positive approach to things and enjoy working in this industry and we would therefore really like you to do the same.
