In Hobbii, the happiest place on earth for yarn lovers, we're on the lookout for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team! 🧶 As we continue to expand our business, we need someone who can help us optimize our inbound and outbound set-up. Your finest work will be to optimize our inbound and outbound set-up, both service and cost-wise, through close collaboration with freight forwarders, our warehouse team, procurement, customer service, and our Logistics team.
To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, be proactive, master the art of working independently, have a structured approach to work, and be a master of coordination. You should also be able to work across different departments and be able to find and implement improvements in the daily operation. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Daily inbound and outbound operation in cooperation with the warehouse and carriers
- All inbound freight bookings (incl. consolidation and price negotiation)
- Monitoring and steering the goods flow from the supplier up until arrival at the warehouse
- Close cooperation with Customer Service, Procurement and the Warehouse team
- Finding and implementing improvements in the daily operation
- Various ad hoc tasks related to logistics
- Being a part of new projects
We imagine you are/have:
- Educated freight forwarder or equivalent experience from the industry
- +2 years experience of work experience within Logistics, transportation and/or warehousing
- Experience with international freight (vessel and truck)
- Knowledgeable in e-commerce
- Fluent in English
- Knowledgeable in Excel/Google sheets
Although not a must, we'd also love it if you:
- Experience working with customs clearance
