Category Sourcing Manager – Baettr A/S

ABOUT THE POSITION:
As Category Sourcing Manager at Baettr, you will be part of a skilled and competent Global Sourcing team, that is dedicated to the green energy transition, and not least developing Baettr and our supplies to meet the future needs.
You will get a varied and challenging sourcing role, where your main task will be to support our machining factory in Denmark and our foundry in Sweden with strategic purchase within your own spend categories. Involvement and support on major CAPEX projects shall also be expected.
You will report to our VP Global Sourcing.
Travel up to 30 days annually must be expected
The work location will be at our head quarter in Lem, Denmark

Key task and responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the supply base within your own categories, ensuring strong partnership
- Selecting the right suppliers, including negotiation of terms and conditions with focus on cost and risk mitigation.
- Secure well defined category strategies in corporation with the factories and other key stakeholders
- Negotiate and implement agreements to support Baettr Strategy and targets.
- Prepare and drive RFQ and CAPEX projects
- Collect and maintain market intelligence to support to stakeholders incl. KAM team.
- Lead Cross Functional Teams within own Categories.
Our expectation to you:
- You hold a relevant technical education
- You have a commercial background with more than 5 years’ experience within sourcing
- You have experience from a production company, preferably global experience
- Strong technical knowledge about machining and or foundry, will be an advantage
- You can communicate clearly at all levels, both internally and externally
- Good level of process-oriented understanding
- You are fluent in English, if you also speak German, it will be an advantage
- You actively involve you self in our workplace and always thrive to be the best version of you
