Kamstrup is a Danish technology company and one of the world’s leading manufacturers of intelligent metering solutions. We experience significant demand for our products and focus massively on the development and production of intelligent metering equipment and systems for energy and water consumption. Due to the increased demand, we are looking for a Technical Purchaser for our project procurement in electronics.
With a direct reference to our Head of Strategic Sourcing, you will become a part of a professional Strategic Sourcing team consisting of 4 competent and engaged colleagues. We are responsible for ensuring the best results in connection to new projects and project participation. In the job you will therefore have a close collaboration with our development team and the production.
Result oriented and Technical Purchaser
In the position as Technical Purchaser you will be responsible for the handling of electronic components including searching the global market for electronical components that are suitable for Kamstrup's advanced technological solutions.
More specific you will be responsible for:
You will have a broad contact surface inside the organization as well as outside to e.g. suppliers.
Personality matters
We are looking for a result oriented Technical Purchaser who can use one’s personal drive and great technical understanding to contribute to the continued success of Kamstrup. You have a technical background at minimum bachelor’s level as electronic engineer or similar. If you have a few years of experience or if you are newly graduated is not decisive. The most important part is that you are passionate about working with the procurement of complex technical solutions. Furthermore, you possess a commercial understanding and has a strong merchant-gene.
In order to succeed in his position is it important that you have a drive and work systematic, which makes you capable of driving projects across departments and teams. You are a strong communicator, why you are great at creating relations internally and externally. You dare to challenge the status quo of your stakeholders. Moreover, you are motivated by reaching your goals and thrive in a dynamic and international work environment where targets and priorities are constantly changing.
In addition, it is a recruitment that you master English and Danish on a high level – both orally and written.
