With direct reference to our Head of Direct Sourcing, you will become a part of a professional project procurement team which consists of 8 competent and dedicated colleagues. In the team, we share the responsibility of creating the best results related to new products and through participation in projects, where you will have a close collaboration with e.g. our Technology department.
A job with responsibility for purchasing deliveries in development projects
As our new Strategic Purchaser you will become the driving force in Kamstrup’s purchase of mechanical components in Technology-driven projects, and therethrough ensure that strategic sourcing has the opportunity to influence and optimize projects early in the phase of development. It is therefore essential that you are ready to handle and run several projects simultaneously.
You will be responsible for:
• Ensuring Strategic Sourcing deliveries in development and sourcing projects, which includes ensuring the quality, price and deliveries of new products, as well as controlling the phasing-in and out of components
• Managing tasks related to purchase and logistics in connection with selection of components through interaction with the Development department
• Contributing to optimization of the quality of purchased goods through active collaboration with the suppliers
• Ensuring price and delivery security of new goods as well as expedient storage composition in collaboration with the Planning function
In the job, you can expect around 15-30 travel days a year.
Personality matters
We are looking for a result-oriented Strategic Purchaser, who can contribute to the continued success of Kamstrup through great technical understanding and drive. You have a technical Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience within procurement, preferably from a similar position, where you have participated in development projects. It would furthermore be an asset if you have experience from a manufacturing company.
In addition, it is important that you:
• Have relevant project management competences
• Have great interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Are efficient in communicating across all levels of the organisation as well as with external partners
• Are structured as well as able to prioritize and are persistent
• Is able to set a direction and motivate people around you
It is a requirement that you both speak and write English and Danish.
