Purchaser for an international high-tech company
On behalf our client, we are looking for a talented Purchaser for a temporary position, who will support the global business by purchasing goods and services worldwide and thus securing stable deliveries for production facilities in Europe. This involves daily orders, daily contact with suppliers, follow up on orders, answering questions from production teams, handling claims and internal inquiries from R&D as well as different ad hoc tasks.
In this role you will support the team to maintain the current purchasing system by ensuring correct master data is inputted. The Danish office is part of a global purchasing team responsible for supplier agreements and purchasing of all parts for both production and R&D. Our client is currently enjoying a period of rapid growth whilst also implementing a new ERP system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The main tasks will consist of:
- Purchasing goods for global business
- Work with suppliers - follow up orders and handle any claims that arise
- Maintain the master data in current ERP system (Dynamics D365) and ensuring that all documentation is correct
- Interact with a range of stakeholders including suppliers, production, R&D and the logistics, warehousing and planning teams
- Collaborate in the transitioning of the new ERP system
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Previous relevant experience of buying goods and services, ideally gained in a purchasing department within an international multi-site manufacturing environment
- Practical knowledge or ERP systems - D365 would be useful
- Able to establish and develop supplier relationships and engage tactfully and collaboratively across cultures
- Process oriented and with a good attention to detail
- Good excel skills
