Senior Buyer for Ports Offshore

For our Offshore Projects Procurement department, we are looking for an enthusiastic & determined Senior Buyer who will be in charge of screening, evaluating and negotiating new pre-assembly ports for our offshore wind projects in close cooperation with Sales, tender and the Ports & Assembly specialist team. This is a varied Procurement role, where you will contribute throughout the whole project lifecycle, from bid to execution phase, and where the ports contract is an important deliverable for every bid which SGRE is placing towards the customers. In addition to the mentioned core procurement tasks you will also be accountable for streamlining and optimizing the internal cooperation flow with your cross-functional counterparts to ensure standards and requirements are met for all projects globally.
About the role
You will be preparing, conducting and leading negotiations for pre-assembly ports as well as related material and services to ensure back-to-back coverage to customer contracts and commercially sound results. Besides you will be driving best contract value in utilizing relevant framework agreements and industry best practices while complying with applicable internal regulations and procedures as well as external legislation. You will conduct market screening and market studies specifically for new markets for offshore activities to provide recommendations for Sales and tender from a cost and risk perspective and be leading and coordinating cross functional teams consisting of sales & tender management, project execution management, ports & assembly specialists, regional business end users & contract owners, finance, HSE, legal experts in the end-to-end sourcing process. You will also be challenging and ensuring that the cross functional team have applied both technical and commercial optimization in any contracting strategy by applying thorough scope demand management, standardized specifications and cost consciousness. You will establish cost control and cost transparency in the defined area of responsibility and facilitate effective Supplier Relationship Management (e.g working with business end users to set contract KPIs, running Service Quality Meetings, performing project evaluations during execution phase)

About you
- You have a Bachelor+ degree (Business Administration / Engineering) as educational background.
- 3+ years of professional experience in a global environment within the areas of strategic project procurement, sales / tender management, project execution management or shipping
- You have a thorough commercial, legal as well as technical understanding
- You have developed strong negotiation skills related to both price and contract conditions
- You have a systematic and structured approach to your assignments while being used to work on several tenders in parallel.
- As a person you are curious, open minded, proactive and possess outstanding communication skills. You understand that you will strive more when achieving the goals as a team.
- You have excellent English skills both orally and in writing, and you are an advanced user of Microsoft Office and SAP.
- You are a dedicated team player thriving in a dynamic environment with many cross-cultural interfaces.
