AGCO’s Innovation Center in Randers, Denmark is searching for an experienced engineer to strengthen our competences within environmental perception sensing for semi and full autonomous agriculture vehicles.
Though based locally in Randers, you will become part of our global Research & Advanced Engineering organization and play a key role in the development of technologies and concepts enabling the introduction of highly automated and autonomous agriculture vehicles and processes.

Our multidisciplinary team of engineers, students and technicians work jointly every day to explore new ideas and opportunities to deliver step change technologies and concepts enabling enhanced productivity and sustainability in agriculture.
We are motivated by technology and use agile engineering principles to shorten the path from idea to reality utilizing our unique facilities for virtual development, prototyping, lab testing and field testing.

Depending on your specific competencies, your tasks and responsibilities may include:
- Depending on your specific competencies you will work with sensory data from sources such as camera, Lidar or Radar systems
- Depending on your competence profile and motivation, you will work in debt with a specific technology area or with a broad set of system solutions
- Processing and analysis of collected data and test results
- Algorithm design and implementation
- Evaluation and presentation of results
- Collaboration with external technology partners
- Exploration of suited sensor platforms or components for a given application when HW platform is not given upfront
- Design of experiments for applications in an agricultural environment (virtual, lab and field environments)
You have competencies within one or several of the following areas:
- Computer vision
- Point cloud signal processing and analytics
- Spatial mapping and Geometric transformations
- Temporal synchronization between multiple sensors
- Sensor and Data fusion
- Programming in C++, Python
- Familiarity with ROS 1/2, OpenCV or Nvidia DriveOS
- Domain knowledge from agriculture, agriculture machinery or other off-highway vehicles is a an advantage
- Experience with electronic architectures and systems engineering is an advantage

- Costumer/end-user oriented – motivated by analyzing the pains and gains in the agriculture business and delivering value adding solutions to the end use r
