Would you like to become part of a healthcare compliance team as our IT system expert and support LEO Pharma in ensuring compliance in our collaborations with healthcare professionals (HCPs), healthcare organizations (HCOs), patients and patient organizations? Do you want to help ensure operational excellence of the healthcare compliance processes and IT systems?
Join the Pharma Legal & Healthcare Compliance team as Healthcare Compliance System Manager. You will play an important role in ensuring that the healthcare compliance IT system setup supports applicable healthcare compliance requirements and that efficient and automated healthcare compliance processes are in place.
The position
As Healthcare Compliance IT System Manager you will be responsible for the operation and support of LEO Pharma’s healthcare compliance IT systems, AAP and STAR, the key systems supporting the global healthcare compliance processes. Both systems are web-based applications managed by external vendors. The AAP system is used for compliance assessing and documenting LEO Pharma activities with HCPs, HCOs, patients and patient organizations, while the STAR system is used for LEO Pharma’s disclosure reporting of transfers of value to HCPs and HCOs. The systems are used globally in LEO Pharma headquarters and affiliates.
You will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, such as external software vendors, LEO Pharma’s IT department, healthcare compliance SMEs in headquarters and affiliates, as well as end users in the Line of Business.

As Healthcare Compliance IT System Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as subject matter expert on the healthcare compliance IT systems, AAP and STAR, and the entire system setup, including guiding and supporting end users globally
- Resolving and/or coordinating the resolution of technical issues and follow-up with the software vendor(s)
- Managing improvement projects and being responsible for the implementation and testing of system changes and upgrades. This includes: i) coordination and communication with the software vendor(s), Global IT, healthcare compliance SMEs, and end users, ii) creating and maintaining system documentation, iii) providing system training
- Maintaining and updating system configurations and system master data
- Setting up and maintaining reports which allow for compliance monitoring
- Being responsible for ensuring compliance with GDPR retention policy in AAP and STAR
- User access management, incl. ensuring periodic user clean-up
Your qualifications
- You have a university degree in IT or similar
- You have 6+ years of experience from an IT related role
- You have experience with operation and maintenance of IT systems (non-GxP)
- You possess in-depth knowledge of IT systems, databases and data analysis
- You have solid analytic skills, incl. the ability to transform compliance and business requirements into system processes
- You are a good communicator and have good stakeholder management skills which makes you a trusted collaborator with the various stakeholders.
- You have a service-minded attitude, pay attention to detail and drive execution of your tasks and projects in a structured manner
- You are fluent in speaking and writing English
