In this role, you will be designing and developing critical solutions used daily by LogPoint’s customers and partners across the world. You will be working with exciting technical challenges, from designing and developing data-intensive solutions in the cloud to coaching other developers and implementing best practices. You will be reporting to the Engineering Manager for Cloud-based Analytics Services (UEBA) and be a part of the team, which will influence the vision and path forward for the engineering team based on your experience and coaching skills.
- Leading, coaching and motivation of other engineers, relying on your experience and best practices
- Partnering and working collaboratively with stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams
- Communication with customers and partners
- Directly contribute to the code and the architectural roadmap
Professionally, you have an academic background in computer science or similar technical or scientific field. You have at least 7 years of experience in software development as well as at least 2 years as e.g. a Tech Lead or Principal Engineer. You have experience in designing complex, highly available, data-intensive, and scalable systems. Lastly, you have experience with and knowledge of Scala, Java, Python, cloud services, data streaming technologies, and container orchestration. Experience with data engineering and machine learning is a plus.
