LogPoint is experiencing rapid growth and is investing massively in the development of their modern Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform. With a recent Series B funding from leading cybersecurity and tech investors, the company is taking its technologies and people to the next level aiming to become the market leader in cybersecurity analytics.
In this role, you will build and develop the foundation of LogPoint’s next-generation products in the cloud. You will develop critical solutions used daily by LogPoint’s customers and partners across the world and help shape the future composition, culture and best practices of our newly established technology hub in Copenhagen.
You will be reporting to the Engineering Manager for Web Applications and be a part of the team, which will influence the vision and path forward for the team based on your experience and coaching skills.
The position is new, and your efforts and initiatives will prove important for the team culture and future technical solutions.
What you will do:
- Actively contribute to the codebase, reviewing and providing feedback on each other’s contributions
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and motivation of other engineers, relying on your experience and best practices
- Co-author the technical roadmap and drive efforts across the department
- Partner and collaborate with stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams
- Be a key stakeholder in the recruitment of new colleagues
What you’ll bring to the table
- At least 5 years of experience in software development, including 2+ years as a Tech Lead or Principal Engineer
- Solid experience across all aspects of modern web application development and knowledge of cloud-based web applications, specially Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js and React
- Can-do attitude – your ex-colleagues say you were awesome to work with!
- An academic background in computer science or similar technical field
- Welcome a challenge and actively seek to work on and solve tough problems
- Ability to structure and break down complex problems
- Thrive in a rapidly changing environment where prioritization is key to success
- Self-starter and willing to take ownership of technical topics to ensure end-to-end delivery
- Have a strong sense of quality and apply it pragmatically where it matters
- Believe that the biggest results can be achieved through teamwork rather than individual contributions.
