As SAP Functional Engineer in Management reporting area, you will be a key driver in building our digital core global ERP S4HANA, BW4 HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud platform.

Maersk is on multi-year program to revamp its technology and digital solutions footprint and as part of new strategy, SAP will act as the ‘digital core’ for company’s finance processes enabled by SAP’s latest cloud and S4HANA offerings. Maersk has currently ECC based SAP finance solutions running for Ocean and logistics divisions and plan is to subsume these solutions within revamped green field S4HANA and BW4HANA implementations. SAP engineering team owns solution template, design, configuration, development, testing and deployment of the SAP solution in Maersk Transport & Logistics.

Key responsibilities

· Lead responsible for Solution build, configuration, development, testing, data conversion, cutover, deployment of SAP Management reporting solutions leveraging SAP BW, SAP SAC, S4HANA embedded reporting solutions across Maersk business units
· Work in an agile environment with business product owners, architects, SAP developers/engineers and scrum master in executing on prioritized backlog
· Ensuring on-time delivery of solution by removing bottlenecks using expertise skills
· High quality of solution delivery ensuring design is followed during build and support
· Compliance to Enterprise architecture, global template guidelines and product roadmap
· Hands on solution design and build/configuration of management reporting across different finance processes like accounting to reporting, order to cash and procurement to pay
· Manage and follow product backlog, including prioritization of needs, creation of backlog items and mapping out dependencies in collaboration with users and customers
· Work closely with product teams in Agile way of working; contribute to the planning, execution and review of each sprint and work with the team to refine and improve the development process.
· Evaluating product progress accountable for each stage of the development process and the final product. Inspect and evaluate product progress at each iteration, determine whether final product is acceptable. Performance of product in general, includes example value delivery, user satisfaction, performance of the support process, compliance, cost, stability of the product and deployment/roll-out performance.
· To be successful, you need to ensure deliverables match needs of stakeholders
· Ensure solution stays standard as much possible & promote reuse of existing functionalities

We are looking for

· Experience working as SAP BW and reporting engineer with good understanding on functional modules across accounting to reporting, order to cash and procurement to pay. Being techno functional engineer with deep knowledge across management reporting will be required.
· More than 10 years’ hands on experience in SAP BW and Experience in HANA & BW related ABAP coding (User Exits and Transformations)
· Ability to build SAP BW/4HANA and SAP BW solutions, including data modelling using LSA/LSA++ methodologies, extract-transformation-load (ETL) processes, BW query creation, Composite providers, Advanced DSOs and using BW objects exposed as HANA views.
· Experience and ability in HANA native SQL coding development and analysis
· Experience in HANA & BW related ABAP coding (User Exits and Transformations)
· Create Information Solutions by using standardized procedures for design, development, and delivery
· Analyse, identify, and document user requirements for new or enhanced analytic applications and information solutions
· Enable consumption of reporting and analytics solutions in front-end reporting tools like SAP Analytics for Cloud, Fiori, Analysis Office, Tableau, Power BI, Business objects reporting tools.
· Develop data models, and technical specifications that meet users’ requirements and conform to company’s information architecture
· Conduct testing and quality assurance activities for solutions developed
· Ensure built BW4/HANA objects are efficient, sustainable, scalable and simple
· Develop Planning models in SAP Analytics for Cloud/ BPS/ IP
· Knowledge of SAP Data Intelligence and S/4HANA Embedded Analytics..
· Good problem solving, analytical & communication skills. Ability to work in demanding situations
· Professional or PG Degree in Technology and Engineering discipline
· Certification in SAP BW, SAC, FI/CO preferred
· Collaborative mindset across business functions
· Flexibility to work on different time-zones
