Test manager for our Group ERP system
Do you want to set the test strategy and drive the test of releases to our new ERP system, which is crucial to our colleagues in Finance, HR and Procurement? Then this role is for you.
DFDS is in the process of digitizing our back office. The largest project in this process is the implementation of a new ERP system for Group Finance, HR and Procurement. We are in the early phase of implementing Microsoft Dynamics including D365FO, Human Resource and multiple ISVs replacing our current finance system Visma amongst other back office systems and 70+ integrations in a web of external and internal built systems.
The position as Test manager includes different responsibilities over the coming years as the project goes through implementation to a fully implemented system in operation. You will be part of a team of skilled IT experts, who have years of experience in developing, supporting and maintaining D365 and our current Finance systems.
Main responsibilities
You will play a key role in setting the test strategy, plan and governance with respect to the overall project plan and release plan. You will collaborate with vendor partner to ensure that test activities are supported and resources for bugfixes are available.
Together with our Release manager and the other members of our Digital Back Office Team, you will ensure that we have a common and smooth test- and release process, which ensures a stable system for our 4000+ end users.
This will also include cooperation with other internal and external stakeholders developing and maintaining the solution with us.

The Digital Back Office Team
The Digital Back Office team is part of the Core Enablers Tribe in our Technology & Innovation Division. The team consists of 5 full time employees but will grow with the need for D365 knowledge in house. We support and maintain DFDS’ Finance systems and the Sertica maintenance and procurement system incl. other finance and procurement systems.
The position can be placed in Copenhagen, Poznan in Poland or in Istanbul, Turkey.
Preferred professional candidate profile
The ideal candidate is an experienced test manager, who has played a large role in implementing an ERP system in a large organization.

- Responsible for processes around testing.
- Ensure that both functional and technical test are conducted.
- Ensure that automated testing is evaluated and used when possible.
- Ensure that sufficient tests are conducted prior to passing stages and environments.
- Responsible for creating documentation for tests and approval documents.
- Ensure that test scope is covering all processes and customised functionality.

- You have experience with automated test
- You could have experience with the tool Executive Automats for automatic testing and Azure DevOps Test Management
- You know your way around D365FO
- You possess a good understanding of finance, HR and procurement processes
- You have experience working with functional teams in support of business requirements
- You are a strong communicator in English and can ensure written and oral clarity
Preferred personal candidate profile
- You like to work in a structured way where processes are important
- You are not afraid of doing your own test if necessary
- You can navigate in a complex landscape of systems and integrations
- You can navigate in an environment with many stakeholders
- You know how to organize yourself and work systematically
- You are a social person, who engage with colleagues, customers and partners
