How would you enhance our online presence and fuel our global growth?
We are looking for a Director of Website and Digital Strategy to join our Global Marketing Team.
We are growing fast as a company, and we are set on using our momentum to bring SaaS cloud-based backup services to a global audience. As Director of Website and Digital Strategy, you will be a driving force behind the organization's web presence and online success. Your strategic vision, technical expertise, and collaborative leadership will be instrumental in shaping the company's digital identity, engaging its audience, and achieving its web-related goals.
As Director of Website and Digital Strategy, you will lead the development and execution of the organization's web strategy, playing a pivotal role in enhancing its online presence and digital performance to optimize user experiences that drive demand and create inbound lead opportunities. Your primary focus will be to drive web initiatives that align with business objectives and increase online conversions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, implement data-driven strategies, and ensure the company's web presence remains competitive and innovative.
Central tasks as Director of Website and Digital Strategy will include:
Web Strategy Development
User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Optimization
Web Analytics and Performance Tracking
Global Web Testing
SEO and Content Strategy:

Web Technology and Platform Management
You will report directly to our CMO, Michele Hayes, and join our global Marketing Team, and we imagine you will be working from our Copenhagen office with the team you will lead. 3. Team Leadership and Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Leading cross-functional teams requires a special skill set. We are on the hunt for someone who not only demonstrates leadership and team management prowess but can also foster collaboration across different units. The ability to articulate web strategies to a diverse set of stakeholders is vital.
4. Passion for Digital Evolution: The digital world is ever-evolving. Hence, a passion to stay ahead of web trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the digital landscape is essential. We need a torchbearer who can help us stay on top of new digital trends to help us continuously expand our global reach.
5. Data Analytics: We strive towards data-driven decision-making, and we want to make sure we can both gather, analyze, and interpret data from activity on our website as well as data from the content we share on different platforms. The ideal candidate has a great understanding of methods and tools in this area and can lead our in-house data analysts to produce actionable insights for our marketing efforts.

Web Strategy Development
- Develop and implement a comprehensive web strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from marketing, product, design, and IT departments to understand their needs and incorporate them into the web roadmap.
- Conduct regular market and competitive analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities for web innovation.
User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Optimization
- Advocate for user-centric design principles, ensuring that all web assets provide an intuitive and seamless user experience.
- Work closely with the design team to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Analyze user behavior and feedback to identify pain points and areas for improvement, implementing A/B testing and other strategies to optimize conversions.
Web Analytics and Performance Tracking
- Utilize web analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Web Analytics) to monitor website performance, track user behavior, and identify key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Generate reports on web metrics, highlighting insights and trends to measure the success of web initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
Global Web Testing
- Partner with global web engineers and developers to test and perform quality assurance of our company's website to ensure its functionality, performance, and user experience meet the highest standards.
- Identify and report bugs, issues, and usability concerns, working closely with the development and design teams to ensure all problems are addressed and resolved promptly.
SEO and Content Strategy:
- Implement SEO strategies that enhance organic search rankings and drive web traffic.
- Coordinate with content creators to ensure the web content aligns with SEO best practices and supports the overall web strategy.
Mobile and Responsive Design
- Stay updated on mobile design trends and best practices to ensure the website is optimized for mobile users and provides a seamless responsive experience across devices.
Web Technology and Platform Management
- Evaluate and recommend web technologies and platforms that align with the organization's web strategy and business requirements.
- Partner with Operations regarding the management and maintenance of the company's web infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.
