We are now searching for our next Area IT Manager covering Northern Europe.
You will work in a fast-paced team working with our great colleagues at our Area offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo as well as the hotels in the Area. The position is based in Copenhagen.
If you want to work in projects as well implementing different systems in the region this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:
- Coaching and support of local IT Managers and outsourced IT partners within the Area.
- Project management
- Budget setting and execution (Capex and Opex)
- IT audits
- Compliance follow up
- IT vendor management
- Leading, planning and guiding the hotels’ IT teams to ensure that employees are achieving goals and objectives set and that they are equipped with the knowledge, skills and training to carry out their role
- Working closely with all third parties, specifically those who provide services on our behalf and ensure that all SLA’s are being achieved i.e. PBX, Oracle, outsourced IT
- Ensure a robust Disaster Recovery/ Business Continuity Strategy is in place and regularly reviewed to maintain effectiveness
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5-7 years’ experience from similar positions, such as IT management and people management
- Ability to develop working relationships very quickly and gain confidence of business colleagues
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and written in a Scandinavian Language and English
- Excellent forward planning and organization skills
- Experience of influencing and coaching people
- Experience of setting and achieving targets and producing work of high quality to agreed deadlines and budgets
- Able to hold a presentation to a smaller audience, such as the management group, employee groups etc.
- Hospitality, travel or service related industries is a plus
- Ability to travel throughout our hotels is a must
- Work permit to work in a Scandinavian country is essential
Knowledge of:
- Microsoft Products - Windows / Office
- Local Area Networking
- Server and workstation hardware
- IT security standards and implementation
- PCI, GDPR
- Project Management skills – ideally experience with managing and coordinating projects across several business units, departments and Countries
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with clients, key stakeholders and cross-functional teams
