Senior IT Project Manager - New System Introduction

The New System Introduction function
We are looking for an IT Project Manager who would like to work closely with R&D & Supply Chain, Sales & Service. A Project Manager who can drive IT projects to ensure that new products, digital services, and features are represented in our IT landscape – From internal platforms to customer facing systems and apps. We call this the New System Introduction function. Together with ambitious and talented colleagues from the Demant organisation, you will be part of an innovative and challenging environment, where you will experience a strong will to achieve great results.
More specifically, your main responsibility will be to lead a project establishing new strategic platforms, including identity and access management and a new central data platform. Your role will be to leverage the business value of the platforms. Once established, you are the one who must ensure an outside-in approach to all solutions built on the platforms.
Be close to our products and digital services
In this NSI function you will always be close to our newest products and digital services and understand how our data, based in our central platforms is used and enriched through all our IT systems.
You can look forward to taking on some of the following responsibilities:
- Driving the analysis of a product program´s impact on IT systems
- Scoping the IT projects supporting the programs and start up and manage an IT project team
- Taking appropriate leadership for necessary change management activities
- Planning projects, communicate plans and drive progress accordingly
- Engaging the project teams to deliver the project results within agreed time, quality, scope and cost
- Doing stakeholder analysis and -management
- Driving systems integration between the new platforms and existing systems and products to support a seamless customer experience
- Complying to the processes for project reporting, issue and risk management
Join our department of Product Launch and Data Management
You will be joining our Global IT Organization which has more than 400 employees with main hubs in Denmark, Poland, US and Asia Pacific region. This organization plays an essential role when it comes to reaching the business goals of Demant.
More specifically you will join our department for Product Launch & Data Management. In total we are 20 colleagues located at our offices in Denmark and Poland focusing on new system introduction and master data. You will be based at the Demant headquarters in Smørum together with 3 other project managers and you will report directly to the Director of Product Launch & Data Management.
Your Profile
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who are good at bridging technology, business processes and people – and can talk across all levels in a global company. You understand an enterprise set-up and want to face a steep learning curve when it comes to understanding our business and products. You are furthermore capable of keeping a good overview of various activities and stakeholders.
We expect you to have good knowledge of project methodology, including agile practices. Furthermore, you have a good technical insight based on several years of practical work experience within IT project management at all levels. We expect you to possess the ability to gather information and articulate, visualize, analyze, and solve complex challenges and make decisions based on an analytical approach.
