IT Manager, ERP Development & Implementation - Global IT
Do you want to deliver first class digital transformation solutions for the wholesale business of Demant around the world? Do you want to play a key role in how we use Dynamics AX to improve the way our wholesale business serves our customers? Right now, we are looking for an IT Manager, who would like to lead and develop our Development and Implementation team. One of your very first projects will be taking part in the global ERP upgrade from AX2012/NAV to D365FO in our Wholesale companies around the world. The first countries in line will be Canada and US and we need you to join us on this journey and lead a team of the brightest application and functional consultants.
In this role you will play a key role in defining the best ERP system solutions and together with your team, you will be developing and monitoring our Wholesale ERP solutions ensuring the best possible performance and solution maintenance.
Drive our ERP Global Solutions and Dynamics 365 upgrade
As IT Manager for Development and Implementation, you will be responsible for ensuring a full-scale ERP solution across several countries in our wholesale business in US, Canada, EMEA and ASIAP. You will be a part of a unique team – consisting of 8 people. You will be leading a team of 4 Application Consultants, in charge of writing application designs and taking care of system changes and 4 Functional Consultants, taking care of process requirements from the business, testing, documentation and user training. You will also be in charge of consultants and developers working for our external vendor.
You will be leading a team that primarily is working within Dynamics AX 2012, but you will also have multiple opportunities for exposure to processes and solutions within other functional areas. Furthermore, you will be reporting to the Director of Wholesale Solutions, and you will be working out of the Demant HQ in Smørum.
As leader of the team, you will be the trusted colleague and solution advisor for our business stakeholders. In your role, you will be facilitating complex problem solving with the goal of enhancing and ensuring the right use of the Wholesale ERP business application platforms and processes.
Your main Responsibilities
Joining Global IT, you can look forward to discus and work closely together with business teams/integrations to ensure the best possible system landscape to support optimization of business processes. To sum up, you can look forward to the following responsibility:
- Lead a team of 8 people consisting of Dynamics AX application and functional consultants.
- Be in charge of the overall solution development, optimization, and performance
- Drive upcoming Dynamics 365 ERP upgrades
- Ensure the best ERP solutions for Wholesale Solutions in Demant
- Oversee the release management process. We work in Microsoft DevOps

We need your experience!
To succeed in the job, you need to have several years of people management and solid experience within ERP solutions in a global company.
We expect you to have broad experience with core components/technologies in the area of Wholesale ERP solutions. Furthermore, we expect you to possess good leadership experience in a virtual and global world as well as experience in development and release management in a validated ERP setup. Knowledge within ERP architecture is important in this role.
Finally, you keep your awareness of industry trends and technology advancements Up to date. In your current position, you could be an IT leader of an application team, or an IT manger with experience in ERP systems.
