HR IT Project Manager


At Demant we are experiencing increasing business demand for efficient and user-friendly HR technology and data reporting capabilities. By becoming part of our Global HR IT team, you get the opportunity to play a key role in taking HR IT and data reporting to the next level in our large and complex organization, spanning over more than 30 countries, 17.500 employees and multiple business areas.

OUR TEAM
We are a dedicated HR IT team carrying the global responsibility for HR IT strategy, planning, implementation, ongoing development, release management and support as well as HR data reporting. Our team of 10 therefore covers a wide array of competences, from planning, training and communication to data migration, test and support.

Organizationally we are anchored in both HR and IT and our team is based in Smørum, Denmark and Stettin, Poland, with further expansion to new locations as we add more users to the platform.

Over the past years we have built a solid HR IT foundation based on SAP SuccessFactors. Currently, Employee Central (EC), the data core of SuccessFactors, is rolled out to 18 countries, covering two thirds of our population. By the end of 2021 we will be covering almost 90% of our population with EC. In addition, specific system modules have been rolled out to a number of countries to support our Learning, Recruitment and Performance processes. In most countries we have built integrations to Active Directory (AD) and Payroll.

But, as you will surely know if you are a relevant candidate for this job, EC is first and foremost a foundation. There is so much potential value in broadening the support for talent processes and we are currently looking into running pilots on a renewed Performance process. Succession and Compensation modules are also pipeline candidates. Furthermore, we are looking into special Learning solutions, spiced up with SAP extensions. Finally, we are dedicated to deliver HR data reports and dashboards to fulfill the needs of local and global stakeholders on all levels.

The learning, communication and collaboration platform, FUSE, is also a component in our HR Technology landscape that we expect will develop and grow over the coming years.

Our key success criterium is stakeholder satisfaction. We are measuring our success based on our ability to add value to the business, from end user to senior management, locally and globally.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
As our new HR IT Project Manager, you will mainly be concentrating on implementation of new modules and continuous improvement of existing functionality. This will include a wide span in complexity from EC implementation in smaller countries with limited HR resources and no existing HR Platform to configuration and implementation of talent modules to support the entire organization or large business units.

You will be working closely together with our external implementation partner, your skilled colleagues in DK and Poland and of course local HR around the world. In larger projects there will typically be a project manager on the implementation partner side whom you will “mirror”, whereas you will be managing smaller projects yourself.

As a key player in a small team, you will be deeply involved in all significant decision making, including of course the continuous development of the global strategy and roadmap for HR IT and data reporting.

YOUR BACKPACK
We are looking for a colleague with some HR IT implementation experience, a global mindset and good PM skills. The position can - to some extend - be shaped to fit our new colleague. We are not looking for a highly specialized PM, but rather a person with a balanced mix of HR IT and planning/communication skills.

You are good at diving into dialog with HR and business locally and globally to get the full view of their essential HR IT needs. At the same time, you understand that it is also your role to inspire your customers with the latest HR IT insights, as it can pave the way for improved HR processes. When you get stuck in a knowledge gap, you apply your customer service mindset and expand your horizon through dialog with colleagues, HR IT vendors and partners.

You have a good understanding of HR IT projects all the way from project initiation to hyper care. You understand the importance of aligning with colleagues along the way to ensure that all angles are covered, also after handover to operations/support.

At this point in time, it is difficult to say much about travel, but you should expect some travel activity.
