On behalf of our customer LEMAN, Randstad is looking for a Head of IT Operations, who will be responsible for IT Infrastructure and Service Desk. In this role, you will become part of an international growth company with headquarters in Denmark.
In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Group CIO of the company and be part of the IT leadership team driving the company’s IT transformation journey. You will set the strategic direction, strengthen the infrastructure vision by defining and executing the roadmap for this journey, and ensure implementation and execution. You will also be overall responsible for ensuring stable operations and a service-minded IT service desk.
You will succeed by making your area more process driven, improve stability of operations and applying technological opportunities with your own ideas. You will work closely together with the Group CIO as well as the leadership team in Group IT.
Your primary responsibilities and work tasks will be to:
* Ensure a customer-focused approach and high availability and performance of the IT infrastructure and service desk enabling an efficient working IT environment for the LEMAN employees
* Work closely with colleagues in the IT organization to drive implementation of initiatives all the way to successful implementation
* In cooperation with Security, define security requirements to guide safeguarding and protection of key operations
* Lead the department ensuring its development and maintaining the department’s strategic roadmap in accordance with the LEMAN strategy
* Ensure that relevant IT capabilities in LEMAN are continually supporting the goals and objectives of the LEMAN group
* Be in charge of disaster recovery within IT Operations as well as the recommendation and implementation of new investments within LEMAN’s IT infrastructure
In this role, you will have 15-25 travel days per year.
You have experience with leading an international IT operations department in collaboration with both the development and security departments. As a person, you have strong communication and stakeholder management skills. You are proactive, curious and interested in maintaining an updated knowledge of relevant technologies and have a sense of urgency. You are structured and organized, and you are great at keeping an overview and focusing on key priorities.

In addition to this, you have:
* A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or similar
* A minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience managing an IT operations department
* Preferably 1-2 years’ experience working with both development and security departments
* Technical understanding of infrastructure, network and security technologies with hands-on experience of implementing these
* Experience with ITIL and implementation of ITIL processes in an organization is an advantage
* Fluency in English, written and spoken
Furthermore, you have strong leadership and collaboration skills. Finally, you have an optimistic profile with an eye for optimization opportunities.
