The department

Professional Services consists of 12 cybersecurity consultants that with a mix of technical competencies and seniority, advise customers on cybersecurity all from architecture to strategy. You be part of diversified team of skilled cybersecurity professionals, that are eager to share experiences and collaborate in creating the best cybersecurity solutions. Even though, there is a great flexibility in terms of remote work, team members prioritize to work from the office a few days a week during the week. As part of Professional Services, you will, together with your colleagues, have the main responsibility of helping customers identify and define their needs and implement the right technical solutions accordingly.

The manager

You will refer to the manager of Professional Services, Peter Sindt, who has been working in Dubex for almost 20 years. Peter has previous experience as a network security engineer and senior cybersecurity consultant and is known for his supportive and ‘down to earth’ approach to the role as manager

The position

As a Cybersecurity Engineer with focus on our SIEM / MDR services in Dubex, you will get the opportunity to join a company in an exciting growth, where you will be responsible for successfully onboard new customers to Dubex’ MDR and EDR services. You will ensure progress in customers onboardings with a thorough understandings of the customer’s specific needs and technical environment. Your ability to handle customer requirements and facilitate an informative dialogue of available options and solution, are important skills that will provide you will great success. From your central role in customer onboardings, it is important that you thrive with operational and repeated tasks ensuring the same quality and success in the service delivery. It is not expected that you know everything from day one, only that you bring a curious approach and are not afraid to take initiative to learn and develop your skills. Besides your colleagues in Professional Services, you will have close contact with people in SOC, who handles the continuous support of Dubex services. Although, you will join a fast-paced working environment, people are always here to help each other.

You will mainly work from the office but are also given a flexibility in working remote few days a week.

Primary responsibilities

• Customer onboarding to Dubex’ services, primarily MDR/Managed SIEM, where you ensure service delivery success and good customer experiences through a close dialogue.
  
  
• Articulate benefits of MDR/Managed SIEM to technical/business customers and help identify future efficiency opportunities.
  
  
• Demonstrate broad knowledge in technical areas such as networks, OS systems and endpoint security, in order to properly manage complex integration efforts.
  
  
• Ensure relevant information to customers e.g., with launch of new services/add-ons, where you, together with the team, create the processes and procedures to secure a professional consistency.
  
  
• Document feedback and lessons learned from customer engagements, so that the team can benefit from this knowledge
  
  
• Participate in the development of services and provide input to optimization of existing procedures.
  
  

Professional qualifications

• +4 years’ experience working with IT operations, where you gained deeper understading of servers and infrastructure - debugging and other operations tasks.
• Relevant background e.g., a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience with IT-infrastructure.
• General knowledge within network, IDS/IPS, virtualization, and operating systems, such as Windows and Linux.
• Understanding of SIEM technologies and platforms e.g. LogRythm, Microsoft, Sentinel, Splunk, LogPoint.
• Professionally Danish and English skills in both writing and speech.

Following are seen as an advantage:

• Experience with integrating SIEM solutions
  
  
• Experience in a consultant or similar role, where you have provided advise, design and implementation of IT-security solutions and demonstrating systematic problem-solving of complex issues.

About the employment

Your workplace will be at our office in Søborg, but you will also participate in meetings and tasks with our customers. The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
