Driving security by design in product development

You will be the anchor point of bringing cyberresiliance to a wide array of projects and in various stages of the project lifecycle - from proposal to maintenance and decommissioning, learning, and leveraging a breadth of skill sets.
Security engineering, security architecture, vulnerability assessments, product pen-testing, system and network hardening are all areas you will be engaged in and work in close collaboration with sales, product management, systems -, hardware - and software engineering teams.

Your primary areas of responsibility are:

• Integrating industry standards and cybersecurity requirements in the products and solutions.
• Implement hardening measures across OS (Unix and Windows) and network environments.
• Tasks related to vulnerability management (identification, analysis, and mitigations).
• Designing and implementing security controls and integration into the products/systems.
• Assisting our development teams to adapt to a secure product development framework.
• Assisting product management in early gate activities including technology road mapping.
• Response on day-to-day requests as the security subject matter expert.
• Participation in conferences, workshops, and customer meetings.

Your experience and education:

• You bring a relevant education, i.e., Master’s degree in engineering, computer science with cybersecurity as specialization or similar.
• You bring relevant few years of experience from the defense industry or similar.
• You are a subject matter expert in various information security disciplines within hardware, software, communication, and design-based security solutions.
• You possess a high understanding of systems engineering, architecture, development, design principles and experience in embedded, large software systems and/or defense systems.
• You are used to work with system specifications and can carry through the technical solution according to these specifications, from the initial idea until end-of-life of the product.
• Software development based on JAVA, C++, C in a Linux environment.
• You thrive in an environment with independent and overall responsibility for the technical part of a development project.
