We are in search of an experienced Technical Architect specializing in Cybersecurity to join our team and contribute to the development of an exceptional organization. This position offers the chance to be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team that is shaping the future of our industry.

This is a hybrid role, where ideally you’ll be required to come into the office once every 1-2 weeks. However, if you prefer, you are welcome to come in more frequently.

While we aren’t offering relocation assistance, this role can be based in any of the following locations: Maidenhead, UK; Copenhagen, Denmark; Bangalore, or Pune. Applicants will be evaluated based on the country in which they have applied.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Developing architecture building blocks
• Ensuring compliance with enterprise-wide architecture guidelines
• Achieving Key Performance Indicators related to architectural principles
• Mitigating Security Risk Backlog by designing and delivering solutions

As a Cybersecurity Technical Architect, your role is to ensure the secure design, blueprints, and patterns across multiple technology platforms within our business. You will engage with stakeholders from these platforms to ensure that their solutions are engineered to be secure by design and comply with Maersk's security policies and approved patterns.

Your extensive knowledge of various cybersecurity areas, including Network Security, Cloud Security, Endpoint Security, Vulnerability Management, Risk Management, Baseline & Compliance, will enable you to make informed decisions on behalf of the organization regarding cybersecurity solution architecture and implementation.

Your ability to clearly document your decision-making process and capture requirements will contribute to finalizing the design. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, understanding their perspectives and effectively communicating your ideas, concepts, and architectural knowledge for the benefit of the organization.

Working closely with the Platform Architecture teams, you will review their roadmaps and ensure alignment between the Cybersecurity Product roadmap, as defined by the Cybersecurity product owners, and secure design considerations.

You will actively promote the importance of cybersecurity and collaborate to co-create relevant security roadmaps. This involves understanding the organization's current posture, identifying short, medium, and long-term goals, and utilizing architecture decision-making and collaboration to chart the path forward. Additionally, you will stay updated on new technologies and security techniques through horizon scanning, contributing to our continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain the security architecture, blueprints, and patterns for relevant platforms.
• Evaluate and recommend security solutions to safeguard sensitive data and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security measures aligned with business requirements.
• Stay updated on emerging threats, technologies, and industry standards such as Zero Trust, NIST, CIS, etc.
• Establish and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and devise effective mitigation strategies.
• Communicate security risks and mitigation plans to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Provide support during incident response efforts and conduct investigations as necessary.
• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to Platform teams regarding secure design practices.
• Continuously enhance the organization's security posture through regular assessments and implementation of best practices.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities, including effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and consideration of diverse opinions.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience you’ll bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience of 5+ years.
• Proficiency in leading and collaborating, establishing expertise in Cyber Security Solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of Cybersecurity, including a comprehensive understanding of other domains like Risk Management, IAM, Vulnerability Management, etc.
• Thorough understanding of architecture and engineering methodologies.
• Deep comprehension of technology and applications across various technology stacks.
• Sound understanding of the interconnections between business strategy, digital transformation strategy, and cybersecurity posture.
