IT Security and Compliance Lead - Nordea Pension

Do you enjoy setting direction, advising, and collaborating with a diverse stakeholder landscape on information security, including governance, documentation, and self-control? If so, you may be Nordea Pension's new Security and Compliance Lead.
Nordea Pension is a new player in the market. The company has acquired TopDanmark Life Insurance and will become Nordea's Danish life and pension company, rebranding as Nordea Pension. As part of this transition, Nordea Pension is establishing an independent IT department, called "Technology," with the task of building a robust setup to support a modern pension business. As a new player in the market, Nordea Pension has a unique opportunity to establish modern solutions that fit a dynamic and growing market.
We are looking for employees who are eager to join the journey and contribute to shaping IT direction at Nordea Pension.
Primary Responsibilities:
As the IT Security and Compliance Lead, you will work with Nordea Pension's information security, and you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on how policies are shaped and adhered to, in close collaboration with colleagues at Nordea.

Technology is a newly established department, composed of employees from the former TopDanmark Life Insurance company and newly hired leaders and employees. As a result, there is a dynamic blend of start-up mentality combined with well-established processes. We challenge ourselves by questioning the status quo, but we don't need to decide everything all at once.
Nordea Pension's office is currently located in Ballerup, together with TopDanmark, and we expect to move to Nordeas locations in Greater Copenhagen during 2024. Flexible opportunities for remote work are available.

Primary Responsibilities:
As the IT Security and Compliance Lead, you will work with Nordea Pension's information security, and you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on how policies are shaped and adhered to, in close collaboration with colleagues at Nordea.
Your tasks will include, but not be limited to:
- Ensuring Nordea Pension's IT security policies and guidelines and managing Technology contingency plans in line with Group Information Security guidelines from our headquarters.
- Providing advice on IT security policies and guidelines and ensuring compliance with them.
- Assessing security aspects of new devices, channels, and technologies, such as Cloud.
- Acting as the liaison between Technology and internal/external audits.
- Continuously developing and adapting the security area to align with the threat landscape. Follow up on vendors and ensuring their documentation complies with current regulations (e.g., TPRM).
- Maintaining and ensuring a comprehensive overview of IT risks, consequences, and status. Reporting to compliance function(s), management, and the board.
Are you the one we are looking for?

- Good technical understanding.
- Experience in a similar role related to IT security, risk management, and compliance.
- A relevant educational background.
- A pragmatic and solution-oriented approach to aligning IT with our business, compliance function, and other colleagues in Technology and Nordea.
