The IT Security Specialist is responsible for the management of IT- and technical risk, security and compliance at a regional level – in this case EMEA - and must as such:
- Identify and assess IT / technical risks, and assist in their mitigation according to the business priorities and business risk appetite.
- Maintain and enforce a balanced IT / technical security level as documented in the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
- Ensure compliance with the Pandora security policies and external requirements like legislation and IT audit requirements.
- Interface with the Pandora outsourcing partners and support them in delivering secure services to Pandora as agreed in the contracts.
In practice this means that the IT Security Specialist is involved in many different aspects:
Risk Management:
- Facilitate and participate in risk management activities related to IT security.
- Perform risk assessments of new regional IT projects.
- Facilitate and participate in security testing activities related to IT security.
- Follow-up on risk treatment plans and results from security testing activities.
Security Management:
You are providing input to the Pandora IT security architecture as well as the Information Security Management System policies. You are part of developing, implementing, enforcing and maintaining:
- The Pandora IT Security Manual.
- IT Security awareness material.
Furthermore you will facilitate and assist in development of local processes, procedures and standards.
Compliance Management:
You will facilitate and participate in compliance activities:
- Monitor and measure compliance with the ISMS.
- Facilitate and participate in regional IT audits.
- Establish and follow-up on corrective action plans from regional IT audits.
- Assist in local Internal Control Catalogue assessments.
- Perform security team compliance reviews.
Advisory service:
Assisting and advising our lines of business is an increasingly important part of our work. E.g. you will be involved in:
- Security advisory service in general (both to business, IT and outsourcing providers)
- Education and training of employees in IT security in general.
Incident handling:
- Support outsourcing partner handling security incidents regionally.
- Handle major security incidents regionally.
Reporting:
You will maintain an updated status on the Pandora IT Security Portal for:
- Security review summary from initial security review of new projects.
- Risk treatment plans.
- ISMS implementation and compliance.
- IT audit corrective action plans.
- Local assessments.
- Security testing activity reports.
- Education and training of employees.
What is needed to succeed:
We are open for senior- as well as more upcoming candidates. The important part is that you can reflect positive on the ideal candidate profile, as a level where you might want to be on within the coming years.
Ideally you are expected to bring experience with IT security and Data Privacy, and be able to contribute with knowledge and counseling to large IT-projects with global impact.
You have knowledge of national and international regulatory compliances and frameworks like ISO 270xx, ITIL, EU/GDPR, PCI-DSS etc.
Most likely you have a broad experience within IT and have worked most of the following areas:
- Hardware/Software/OS security
- Network security
- Cloud
- Perimeter security
- Application development
- Training of users
You have the experience to work with both policies and processes as well as the daily IT operation. You are used to handle a varied sort of questions from users outside of IT and are able to communicative in a positive way.
You are used to work independently and manage your own time, projects and task list.
Qualifications:
- Experience in delivering high quality IT security service.
- Background in IT (IT system administrator, network administrator or similar)
- Ability to work in a high pressure and dynamically changing environments.
- Self-motivating and comfortable in a global organization.
- High personal integrity and discretion.
- Strong interpersonal, communicative and adaptive skills.
- English verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong education and training skills.
- Expertise in IT Security at management- and operational level, i.e. identity and access management, firewalls, network, intrusion detection, assessment tools, encryption, incident handling etc.
- Follow and understanding emerging security architecture technologies and concepts.
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, ITIL, GPPA, GCIH or other relevant IT Security or Data Privacy certifications
