Junior Information Security Specialist – Luxembourg, Copenhagen, or London

To support that and our exciting growth journey, we are looking to hire a skilled Information Security Specialist, who is able to assist in the continual improvement of our security posture through activities including risk assessments, policy development, threat assessments, and ensuring compliance with security frameworks and regulation. You will be part of the Risk Team reporting to the Information Security Officer and Head of Risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the ISO and Senior Risk Manager
- Deliver on Information Security initiatives and goals
- Assist with the risk assessments and BC policies
- Help develop standards on compliance monitoring
- Support in scoping the benchmarking process
- Improve the business continuity programme
- Provide subject matter expertise internally
- Maintain Information Security documentation
Skills & Qualifications
You will have a few years of experience working with Security Capacity, ideally within finance, insurance, or another regulated sector. You must have a relevant security/IT related degree and awareness of industry best practices. Additionally, we expect you to have or be working towards gaining further security related qualifications. Although this is not a technical role, a certain understanding of technical security controls and concepts are required covering networks, end point, cloud, and applications. As a person you take ownership but are also strong on collaboration and able to work in a team with a constructive and solutions-oriented attitude. You can work independently, and have the ability to quickly learn and develop, with a constant ambition to improve. Finally, strong communication skills and the ability to present complex concepts in a simple and understandable way is considered key. As Banking Circle is an international company it´s a requirement, that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Mastery of other relevant languages will be an asset. The position will either be based at Banking Circles headquarters in Luxembourg or one of our offices in London or Copenhagen.
