Saxo Bank is looking for a Data Protection Specialist to join our Security and Financial Crime Prevention (SFCP) department at our headquarter in Hellerup. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Information Protection function within Saxo Bank serving Saxo entities around the world and various external stakeholders on areas within Security and Information Protection.
The SFCP Information Protection function is responsible for facilitating an environment where the Bank’s data can be sufficiently protected from unauthorized access, use, misuse or disclosure. We are continuously identifying risks and testing control effectiveness within the information protection domain to satisfy regulatory requirements and safeguard our client's privacy, ensuring that Saxo will continue to be a preferred and trusted provider.
As Data Protection Specialist you will play a valuable role in building secure solutions, processes and controls within the Information Protection domain. You will part of strategic and tactical initiatives across the Bank and engage with many different stakeholders.
Your main tasks will be:
- Provide advice and guidance to align data protection solutions and process improvements across the Bank
- Drive data protection strategic and tactical initiatives, implementation and coordination across business areas
- Analyze and assess effectiveness of data protection controls and solutions and support the development of new controls
- Review and assessment of internal and external data privacy and information protection requirements, design business and technical controls to comply with requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues on information protection initiatives and issues
- Support training and awareness initiatives to help the organisation to understand how to protect and handle data
Your profile:
- You have relevant degree (e.g. within computer science, law, business management, etc.) and have minimum 3 years of experience within data security or privacy
- Good knowledge of Data Privacy and Data Protection regulations and understanding how it translates to business processes and technical solutions
- You have a business and analytical mindset and you are passionate about privacy and data protection
- You are structured and a team player who proactively takes initiatives and responsibilities
- Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills
- You like to work in a fast-paced environment
