You will become a part of the Core Operation Team in IT, which is the core in Kamstrup’s daily operation. The Core Operation team is a part of the growing IT department consisting of 25+ talented and dedicated colleagues, who are constantly seeking to raise the bar for availability, stability and security of IT systems in an international organization that works around the clock. The department supports Kamstrup’s employee with IT systems worldwide.
A job with focus on applied security
In the newly established position as Client Security Specialist you will have a central role and become responsible for security on Kamstrup Clients with an emphasis on pc clients, mobile phones and servers. Your primary task will be to ensure that the clients and relevant security software are configured for security and that any deviations are monitored. It is expected that you actively generate ideas for improving the systems and infrastructure. You will work within a platform that primarily consists of Cisco, VMware and Microsoft technologies.

Personality matters
We are looking for a talented Client Security Specialist, who is proactive and able to challenge the current order to ensure the best solutions. You have a formal IT background and minimum 3 years of solid experience in IT operations, but most important is that you have a relevant technical skillset and understand what it takes to maintain client security across an enterprise style IT platform. It is an advantage if you have one or more of the following certifications or similar: CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+.
Also, experience with several of the following technologies will be an advantage:
As a person you are outgoing and quality-minded while you thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are a pronounced team-player and manage to work and communicate with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders at all levels. You are proactive and good at asking the right questions and hereby challenge status quo. With your experiences within IT operations it comes naturally for you to work in a structured and systematic way and you have a “can do it” attitude. Furthermore, you are motivated and driven by creating positive results and your tasks are always of high quality and completed within the deadline.
You are fluent in English both written and oral. Danish will be an asset.

- Define and maintain a technical baseline for security on Kamstrup client devices such as pc’s and similar equipment which is aligned with Kamstrup’s politics
- Configure and maintain all relevant client/device security products incl. built in security features, antivirus products and malware protection
- Be technical lead in any future replacement of client endpoint security products
- Responsible for managing any vendors and associated contracts for IT security functionality in relation to Kamstrup clients
- Work closely with other security and operations specialists in Core IT Services to create outstanding security across the entire IT platform.
