To further counter security threats to our business, we are looking for a Network Security Specialist who can support this journey.
With reference to our Head of Core IT Services, you will become a part of our internal IT organisation consisting of 50+ dedicated colleagues. Together we offer IT-support to all Kamstrup employees, enabling them their daily work. More specifically, you will become a part of a growing group of Security Specialists who all share the desire to enable Kamstrup’s growth ambitions globally. We’re expanding both in numbers and capabilities and encourage you to come grow with us.
A job with focus on core security infrastructure
In the position as Network Security Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to secure Kamstrup’s IT infrastructure and the belonging systems. Therefore, you will be implementing new security features as well as operating on current. Another key aspect of your job will be to provide sparring for your colleagues on network related security issues in response to an ever changing threat landscape.
More specifically your tasks will be to:
Personality matters
There are several entry points to this position as your educational background is not crucial, but we expect you to have a minimum of 3 years’ of experience within Network Security from which you have obtained a great understanding about IT infrastructure and network security in general. Moreover, we expect that you have previously participated in larger IT projects and hold a great passion for information security. Experience with SIEM will be considered an advantage.
As a person you are result-oriented and thrive in a role where nothing is given. You want to make a difference and you are not afraid to challenge status quo. Furthermore, you manage to keep an overview why you possess a strong sense of urgency when dealing with risks and have the structure and experience to pick out long term solutions whenever possible.
In addition, it is a requirement that you master English on a high level – both orally and written.

- Ensure that our IT infrastructure and the belonging systems match current and future threat landscape
- Handle the daily operation of current security solutions as well as implementing new ones in collaboration with our other Network Specialist
- Analyse and correct the security issues in relation to asset and vulnerability managements
- Deploy, test and maintain security features
- Influence the general system implementations for example VPN, firewalling and general network infrastructure
- Participate in sparring and projects in order to promote security best practice
- Work with external suppliers
