The Data Protection Office serves NNIT Group globally and comprises a global privacy team led by NNIT’s DPO. The global privacy team is a cross-functional and global team in NNIT comprised of lawyers, operational, quality, security and process specialists. The team provides in-house services related to data protection compliance, in particular the GDPR, to the NNIT Group both to our headquarters in Denmark, but also to our affiliates in Europe, Asia and the US.
Your responsibilities as Data Protection Specialist
You will join the global privacy team in the Data Protection Office in NNIT reporting to the DPO. The primary role of Data Protection Specialist in the Data Protection Office is to assist the DPO with the daily operation and maintenance of NNIT's Data Privacy compliance program.

Your responsibilities as Data Protection Specialist
You will join the global privacy team in the Data Protection Office in NNIT reporting to the DPO. The primary role of Data Protection Specialist in the Data Protection Office is to assist the DPO with the daily operation and maintenance of NNIT's Data Privacy compliance program.
Specific tasks include for example:
- Advising and supporting the business with compliance matters
- Legal research on privacy and information security matters
- Review of data processing agreements
- Creation and maintenance of compliance documentation
- Review and refining of policy and process documents
- Assistance with and participation in internal and customer audits
- Facilitating risk assessments and DPIAs
Your qualifications and experience
- You have a master’s degree in law or commercial law
- You have 2-3 years’ experience working with data protection as a consultant or as in-house advisor, as well as a strong interest in data protection and privacy
- You preferably have CIPP/E and CIPM certifications
- You have an interest in or understanding of IT and technology, as well as risk management
- You are comfortable collaborating with colleagues with different backgrounds, including technical and cultural backgrounds
- You are fluent in English and Danish
