Manager for Information Security and Quality Assurance, ISO 27001 and ISO 9001
Vital position to ensure IT-security and product quality processes in international data communication growth company
For our client Danelec Marine,we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Manager for Information Security and Quality Assurance. You will be responsible for the implementation and operation of the ISO 27001 standards and for the continued maintenance of Danelec’s well established ISO 9001 system.
Danelec Marine develops technologies to optimize the safety, cost and performance of marine operations. They are in rapid growth and provide the most efficient product and service solution to the maritime industry. Danelec Marine is a leading manufacturer of Voyage Data Recorders (VDR, the black box for ships) and ship-2-shore data solutions with more than 6,000 installations worldwide.
Your responsibilities will mainly be to
- Implement the ISO 27001 ISMS in the organization and make sure that a certification can be obtained and maintained.
- Continue the maintenance of Danelec’s ISO 9001 certification and supporting processes.
- Facilitate internal, external audits, and management reviews etc..
- Answer IT-security and product quality questions from large international Danelec Marine customers, often in connection with contract negotiations.
- Prepare white papers describing the company policies of IT-security and product quality. This will be done in cooperation with their Sales & Marketing department.
You will report directly to the CEO of Danelec Marine.
Danelec’s largest supplier (EMS) is located in Asia, and consequently 1-2 weeks of travel to suppliers per year should be expected.
Your qualifications and background
You have some years of experience with hands-on quality assurance from companies producing electronic components or other technical products. The ISO 9001 standard is very familiar to you, and it is an advantage if you know the ISO 27001 standard and are interested in IT-security matters.
You probably have an engineering background or similar and understand the processes in manufacturing electronics, either internally or from outsourced companies.
Your English is fluent orally and in writing.
As a person, you are very systematic and structured with attention to detail - and at the same time have a pragmatic way of solving issues. You have an outgoing and open mindset, have excellent communication and cooperative skills and a very good business understanding.
You have an ambition to put your fingerprint on quality strategy and operational issues as well as improving the way Danelec Marine works with QA today.
