You will become part of our Functional Team, which currently consists of 5 team members working with a wide range of projects across the different vertical divisions in DSV. This includes internal as well as customer-oriented projects.

A dynamic workday across the organisation

As our new IT specialist, you will get a truly dynamic and versatile workday as you work with projects, implementation, training and requirements across DSV as well as directly with customers.

More specifically, you will be:

• Supporting the delivery of business requirements with the standard DSV warehouse management systems (WMS) solutions and identifying solutions for potential gaps
• Collecting, reviewing and understanding customer requirements and helping in the translation of these into IT specifications
• Maintaining and developing the WMS and surrounding applications with a high focus on standardization and reusability as well as clear and understandable documentation
• Analyzing customer requirements and project managing the implementation of IT solutions in collaboration with the business owner/account manager
• Creating and delivering presentations, training and demos on how IT enables warehouse solutions

This role is based in Denmark (Kolding or Horsens), and you will get a chance to visit like-minded teams in Holland, the UK and Poland.

Furthermore, we imagine that you:

• Have solid, relevant experience, e.g. from a transportation, logistics or supply chain management-related role
• Are an excellent communicator and know how to tailor presentations to your specific audience
• Have experience with warehouse management solutions
• Can take ownership of and implement projects, including end-user contact, analysis, design, and documentation
• Have great communication skills in both verbal and written English
