We are in the process of transforming our IT organization and as part of this; we are looking for skilled employees for our IT department, among others a skilled technical support specialist, who can help our IT team in supporting our end-user
You will be responsible for providing 2nd level and 3rd level local and remote support to all Babcock & Wilcox Vølunds business units across Europe. You will have the day-to-day responsibility for our computer environment. It is a great opportunity to join our IT department and work with IT support that assists the business needs. It is essential that you are an adept communicator and master written and spoken Danish and English as your area of contact will include a variety of stakeholders.
As a global company, there are occasional global meetings and projects to work on after normal work hours. It is a prerequisite that you are flexible to attend.

Your professional and personal qualifications
We imagine that you have an IT education/background and experience (preferably several years) from similar positions.
It is important to us that your professional competence and experience include:
- Extensive experience of Windows 10
- Knowledge of Microsoft server and Cisco infrastructure
- Experience of scripting, preferably PowerShell for automation
- Wide experience of SCCM, Active Directory and GPOs
- Experience of software packages consisting of legacy components
- Knowledge of preparing test systems in connection with software upgrades
- Solid understanding of networks such as DNS, TCP / IP routing and VLAN
- Experience of VDI, RDS, Citrix, VM-ware and HyperV.
As to your personal qualifications, we image that:
- you are extrovert, action-oriented, and pragmatic in your problem solving
- you have a structured approach and take on the responsibility for prioritizing own time and tasks
- you have a solid technical foundation and preferably experience from earlier jobs.
Your primary tasks
- Administration of Active Directory
- Administration of GPOs
- iPhone and iPad administration
- Responsibility for maintenance of Windows 10
- Responsibility for basic software operated by the IT department (VPN client, VDI clients, antivirus, etc.)
- Support to end-users (2nd and 3rd level)
- Supervise that outsourced systems are operated technically optimally and effectively by the suppliers
- Contribute knowledge on further development/optimization of our PC network
- Various ad hoc tasks in the IT department, including IT user tasks, preparation of documentation, etc.
