Are you a person that does not hesitate to jump into the car and drive directly to a colleague, in order to fix their IT problem right away?
At Hobbii, you will have a key role at assisting all our physical shops, our Warehouse and our sister companies, if they are in need of some tech support. At the moment we have 3 shops but within the next two month we will have 5 shops in Denmark. Next year we will expand even further on the German market and therefore some travel days will be expected - most of them inside of Denmark.
You will be in the frontline to support all of our +250 “Hobsters” and responsible for administering Google Suite and Slack, creating new employees and making sure they have the correct permissions, aliases etc. You are also responsible for hardware procurement and set-up for new hires.
Our Tech department is at the heart of Hobbii. We are at an incredibly exciting stage where you can really come in and make a difference together with an ambitious and fun team. We are expanding with rocket speed and were recently confirmed as the fastest-growing company in Denmark over the past four years. Generally, building something from scratch should excite you rather than terrify you... Don't worry, you won't be doing this alone; in the past year, we welcomed more than 170 people to our team from various backgrounds such as Bonnier, Pleo, GoMore and Google. We have plenty of ideas of how we should grow in the future and we are looking for more talented people to help us with this.

Hobbii is an eCommerce scaleup selling and shipping thousands of packages a day with yarn and knitting and crochet accessories to dedicated yarn lovers in 35+ countries. We’re a Danish company with an international outlook. Recently, we’ve launched a number of physical stores and aim to hit 50 stores within 3 years to supplement our online sales.

The nitty-gritty skills needed:
- Experience with providing end-user IT support and being comfortable tackling whatever IT issue is thrown at you
- You are persistent and a wizard at identifying, investigating and solving IT problems as they arise
- You will be able to communicate in Danish and English across the globe via email and chat every day and occasionally by phone. If you are able to speak German as well, it would be a huge plus!
- You need to be positive and adaptable as every day brings something new and challenging
- We require a strong drive and the ability to take ownership of tasks
- Driver License is a must.
We’d be thrilled if you:
- Have hands-on experience with User Management tasks and workflows
- Have a broad knowledge of different devices and printers
- Been working with Google's G Suite (Workplace)
- Have worked with PointOfSales systems before
- Knows what Linux is
- Have tried to coordinate between different suppliers before. E.g. Network companies, electricians etc.
