The IT Department today and in the near future
The IT department is responsible for supporting and maintaining all our IT systems worldwide. The department consists of two teams; ERP and Infrastructure, where you will play an important part in the Infrastructure team. Due to changes in our system landscape, organizational structure and growth in the number of employees, we see the need to strengthen the team. We are therefore looking for a colleague, who can work independently with his/her own tasks, be part of innovating our processes and support our organization with its changing needs.
As a part of the team, you will cooperate with employees and managers across the organization to ensure that our systems match the business needs now and in the future. You partake in implementing tools that ensure alignment with our business strategy as well as keep yourself well oriented with software applications.
Tasks
Daily tasks will primarily evolve around our user requests in our service desk, and the tasks will range from purchase/installation of equipment and software, to updating and making new deployment packages for software deployment and all the way to server and backend maintenance and installation, if you so desire.
You should be motivated both by technical challenges, improving our processes and by the "happy customers".

- Handle support cases in our ServiceDesk.
- Purchase of IT hardware and software
- Installation/Deployment of software and software updates
- Maintenance and development of SOP, guides and training of users.
Primary client Applications/services supported by the team:
- Windows 10
- Microsoft Office 365 suite
- SharePoint
- And various department/function specific applications that is supported by the team.
Our infrastructure is primarily based on the following technologies:
- Microsoft Windows Servers
- Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
- Microsoft SQL
- Microsoft PowerBI
- Microsoft PowerShell
- VMware ESX
- Cisco networks equipment
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO
- Veeam Backup solution
- Dell server hardware
- Lenovo client hardware
Your profile
Your success depends on both your technical results but also very much on your ability to be part of a collaborative team environment. Hence, we would expect you to:
- Have an IT educational background
- Have experience using your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Be a part of the Global 24/7 support team outside normal business hours for critical calls.
- Have customer service in your veins
