Your responsibilities as Windows Specialist
As a Windows Specialist in NNIT you will be part of a highly skilled and experienced global team focusing on ensuring that our customers’ server operations are running smoothly. You will be responsible for a broad range of tasks, which include:
You will be part of a global delivery team collaborating on assignments in a multi customer setup. As a Windows Specialist your responsibilities will also include a leading role in the coordination of global operation activities ensuring good cross-customer quality and alignment of services.
You will join our Windows Operations team
The Windows Operations team is part of Global Operation Services. The team consists of +40 people, situated in Denmark and in our global affiliates in China and Philippines. The team is working as an integrated team sharing a pool of tasks and responsibilities in a 24x7 operations setup.
The primary focus areas is ensuring stable operations and meet the service- and quality levels we have promised to our customers. And if issues do occur, we fix them 24x7.
In Global Operation Services we are operational specialists by heart and mind, who are working efficiently, quality oriented and with great attention to clients and user satisfaction.
The team works closely together with other service lines from our IT Operations Services division, responsible for everything from infrastructure and applications to complete orchestration and support of our customers’ IT solutions. Our work processes are based on best practices and our procedures follow ITIL standards (IT Infrastructure Library).
Your qualifications and experience
We are looking for a Windows Specialist with minimum 5 years of experience with Windows OS, and preferably also within enhanced technologies and tools such as HyperV, VMware, Cloud and maybe even HPSA. A higher education is ideal, but a long relevant expertise can be just as crucial.
You have an understanding of general process frameworks such as ITIL and a solid experience with processes such as Incident-, Problem-, and Change handling. It is an advantage but not a requirement that you are certified in ITIL v3.0, Windows OS (2008, 2012 and 2016) and enhanced technologies.
You prosper when working with daily Microsoft server operations and you thrive in a dynamic and international environment, where your primary task is to make sure that our client’s server operations are running smoothly and where your duties may vary due to urgent tasks.
It is crucial that you understand your role as operations specialist, and that you contribute to and take part in the daily routines within your working area, but at the same time are able to cope in a company with many interfaces to other technology areas and departments.
As a person it is important that you:
As you will work with colleagues in an international team and service some of our Danish costumers, it is required that you master both Danish and English at a high level – both in writing and orally. It is likewise required that you can be PET approved.

- Microsoft server operation in all aspects, both in daily operations including what implies of actions to be taken when critical incidents occur, but also participate in a duty setup (including weekends and nights)
- Cross-technological troubleshooting and root-cause analyses, i.e. in taskforces and Major Incidents
- Challenging and complex assignments on a daily basis within supportive processes, criticalities factors, regulatory requirements and audits
- Handle tasks according to processes, documentation, quality and GxP demands
