Technical Support Specialist

For our client Clicklearn's subsidiary in Florida, US, we are on the lookout for an experienced Technical Support Specialist.
Your day-to-day tasks will consist of delivering technical support to the clients and supporting clients when they have difficulties or questions. Smart customers, complex deployment scenarios and deep utilization of the ClickLearn software will challenge you every day. You will also take ownership of all technical content on ClickLearns customer-facing community website, helping yourself and your team drive customer requests from the ticketing system and to the community website.
Tasks will include:
- Provide technical support to customers
- Write short, concise, and explanatory copy for community website, owning the purpose, editing, and testing of your work.
- Work closely with colleagues in support and customer success teams to make sure Clicklearn has the right content for the right time and place.
- Along with the team lead, identify any gaps in the community content pool to ensure the most recently updated and relevant articles are at the customer’s fingertips.
- Suggest changes to improve any aspect of the customer facing content and take ownership of these changes.
- Copy-edit content written by other teammates.
- Monitor and respond to customers’ requests and feedback on community website.
You will be a part of their rapidly growing team of people working to deliver world-class services. The Customer Care team will take care of all your training requirements, and you will report directly to the Director of Customer Care.

Support skills
You have probably worked or are still working as a consultant or a technical supporter in a large company but miss the feedback that comes from following each case from cradle to grave. You are familiar with a range of Microsoft products and platforms and like to grow and expand your skillset. You are probably used to learn from Youtube videos, user groups and message boards, in addition to standard documentation. Any experience with any ERP system is a big plus.
Eager helping people solve their problems
You love getting the right answers to customer requests, and the positive feedback you get from your clients motivate you. You do not mind spending an hour solving small problems to the perfection of the client. You understand the value of knowledge-sharing and like to document solutions to problems and make them available to colleagues and customers.
You are a people person
Even though you are a tech-wiz and even though a lot of your communication is on community websites, Teams chat and e-mail, you really are a people person. You like to interact with people. You are curious in nature and it just makes your day to have engaged with people around the globe, whether it is a support, consultancy task or a remote session with a developer who needs to integrate 3rd content.
A natural in software
You are great at learning new tools, systems and you are probably familiar with some or all of the following technologies:
Windows OS, AD, Azure, SharePoint, IIS, any or all Dynamics products, other ERP systems on end-user level, one or more support ticketing systems.
You probably understand the basics of ERP from sales, orders, invoices to customers, general ledger. You have maybe had a support background in ERP or enterprise business systems.
One of a kind
You are not a tech consultant, you are not a programmer, and you are not a supporter. You are truly one of a kind. Your joy in your work life comes from helping people do great things. You do not like budgets. However, if anything inspires you, you really need to share that with everyone around you. You are enthusiastic and you have a nice sounding voice and a good pace when you talk. People can feel your enthusiasm when you speak. Even over the phone.
Great communication skills.
You enjoy writing and master basic cultural awareness which you use your advantage when communicating with customers and colleagues spread out across many time zones, backgrounds and cultures.
You do not mind working in multiple time zones and on occasion taking a customer call at late in the afternoon or early evening, providing that you are compensated with non-working time the next day. You do not see glory in working long hours and you demand that your workday is interesting.
