Sales Service Special Task & Blades Nordic
As a Lead Technician, you will be part of Special Task & Blades Nordic with the responsibility of fiber (glass and carbon) repair in Scandinavia. The service department is responsible for service and maintenance of the wind farms within Scandinavia. Vestas Northern and Central Europe strive to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas, not only in modern energy, but also in employee and customer satisfaction. With these ambitions, a Lead Technician holds an important role as the frontline of our service agreements, taking care of the customers' turbines. In this role you get to work in an exciting industry in a team of highly engaged employees.

The position requires high demands on accuracy and professionalism, as we are extremely committed that our blade repair is performed with the highest quality. You have a high level of safety awareness, and you are comfortable working at heights, coping with the respective challenges this brings. To fully succeed with the task, we believe that you are a practical, flexible and businesslike person. Furthermore, you need to be able to be away from home for up to 3 weeks in a row, because of our work across Scandinavia.

Additional information
You will work out from our local warehouse location in Skjern, Denmark.
You should expect travel activity in the range of 100-150 days annually.

Responsibilities
As Lead Technician your primary areas of responsibility are to:
- Execute and document activities related to the blades maintenance processes in order to assure service level agreements and minimize service costs
- Inspect the operational level of the blades assessed; register results on maintenance information systems in order to assure reliability of the information gathered and compliance of information procedures
- Carry out a diversity of check-ups, repairs and replacement activities of turbine components
- Make your own travel reservations and bookings according plan
Qualifications
To qualify for the position, you have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with blade repair
- Rope access or ActSafe knowledge is preferred
- Proficiency in both English and Danish in reading, writing and speech
- Experience working safety oriented
- A driver’s license is preferred
- Basic knowledge of MS Office
- Proved to be a valuable team-player
