Sales Region NCE Special Task & Blades Nordic
As a Lead Technician, you will be part of Special Task & Blades Nordic with the responsibility of fiber (glass and carbon) repair in Scandinavia. The service department is responsible for the service and maintenance of the wind farms within Scandinavia. Vestas Northern and Central Europe aim to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas, not only in modern energy but also in employee and customer satisfaction. With these aspirations, a Lead Technician holds an important role as the frontline of our service agreements, taking care of the customers' turbines. In this role, you get to work in an exciting industry in a team of highly engaged employees.

The position requires high demands on accuracy and professionalism, as we are extremely committed that our blade repair is performed with the highest quality. Your level of safety awareness is high. You should be comfortable working at heights, coping with the respective opportunities this brings. To fully achieve goals with the task, we believe that you are a practical, reliable, and businesslike person.
As we are working across Scandinavia, you need to be able to be away from home for up to 3 weeks in a row or more and travel with short notice.

Additional information
The work area will be mainly in the Nordic countries, but there may also be work in other countries from time to time.

Responsibilities
- Implement activities related to the maintenance of the blades processes in order to assure service level agreements and minimize service costs
- Inspect the operational level of the blades assessed; register results on maintenance information systems in order to assure the reliability of the information gathered and compliance with information procedures
- Documentation of the job
- Carry out a diversity of check-ups, repairs, and replacement activities of turbine components
- Make traveling reservations and bookings according to plan
Qualifications
- Min. 2 years experience in blade repair
- Basic knowledge of MS Office
- Rope access or ActSafe knowledge
- Good communication, English skills in reading/writing/ speech
- Team-oriented
- Safety oriented
- Drivers license
