Would you like to work with fund regulation as part of a Nordic team? We are now looking for a Legal counsel to streghten our Nordic Fund Law team.

As the Legal Counsel, you’ll be member of the Fund Law team where you’ll get a unique opportunity to work in an inspiring Nordic environment. You will play an essential role by providing solid legal advice ensuring that Nordea Funds Ltd has the licence to operate and upscale funds. You will take part in the business and its development from a legal perspective.

About this opportunity

Welcome to the Fund Law team. We add value by providing legal services to Nordea Funds Ltd and its branches across the Nordic. Your primary focus will be on variety of legal issues relating to management of UCITS and AIF funds in both local and Nordic context.

You will add value to by combining high class legal support combined with solid understanding of the fund business. As the Legal Counsel, you’ll play a valuable role in ensuring that Nordea Funds’ activities are top of class from a legal perspective.

What you’ll be doing:
You’ll join a team of experts fund legal matters. The role is based in Helsinki or in Copenhagen and you will report to the Head of Fund Law. Nordea Funds Ltd manages over 250 Nordea funds registered in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway. The basic elements of fund operations are trustworthiness, openness and transparency, as well as an active ownership policy and responsible investment principles.
